Gurdas Maan's New Song

Singhs have been criticizing Gurdas Mann for visiting various deras and pirs (some shady ones). Most recently he was seen in a picture with his mother with mother having a picture of Sacha Sauda saadh around her neck. He also performed at Sacha Sauda dera. In his new album, here is how he answered Singhs' objections,

ਫਤਿਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਨੇ, ਫਤੂਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਨੇ ਆਂ

ਗੁਰੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ, ਗਰੂਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਆਂ

ਲੋਕੀ ਆਖਦੇ ਨੇ ਠੱਗੀ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਠੱਗੀ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੇ

ਸਾਡੀ ਲੱਗੀ ਐ ਤੇ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਲੱਗੀ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੇ

ਸਾਈਆਂ ਦੇ ਵੀ ਜਾਨੇਂ ਆਂ

ਬਾਬਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵੀ ਜਾਨੇਂ ਆਂ ਤੇ ਮਾਈਆਂ ਦੇ ਵੀ ਜਾਨੇਂ ਆਂ

he defines himself as a jatt, but not sure if he is sikh? in order to be a successful singer you have to 'win over' and appease the majority indian community. musicians and celebrities readily create controversy wherever possible in order to attract publicity & promote new songs & album releases.

criticising the relatively small group of people viewed by the indian majority as the 'bogeyman', wins him sales & publicity. win-win.

personally, i preferred kuldip manak as although he wasn't born a sikh at least he had an ounce of feeling for those who were.

Gurdas Mann is Practically unknown to Indian people except Punjabi's and that too Sikhs.If Sikhs will stop hearing his songs then he will be finished.

Our main problem that Our own people are biggest traitors especially Politicians,Stars , singers sportsmen.Every third ,fourth Actor ,producer director in Bollywood is Sikh or from Sikh background yet they are always at forefront in making films Which make mockery of Sardars.Look at Shahrukh in 2010 he specially did a Film" My name is Khan" Just to improve image of muslims and our people don't left any kasar of sikh image mockery.
