Waheguru jee kaa Khalsa

Waheguru jee kee Fateh

Has anyone heard any saint or a scholar (belonging to the orthodox sects of Sikhism) explain the origin of the Rakhri festival? By orthodox, I mean Nihangs, Nirmalay, Udhasi, Sevapanthi, etc

Thanks.

Rakhri is more of a Punjabi Thing Than Sikh...
Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Bhindranwale Mentioned it but that was just like blowing it off as a punjabish thing..

Thanks a lot bro.

It is not only a Punjabi festival, it is celebrated all over India. I understand, it is not a Sikh festival, but we must not slander or look down upon it, as it promotes good ethics and values.
