Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Bhindranwale Mentioned it but that was just like blowing it off as a punjabish thing.. It is not only a Punjabi festival, it is celebrated all over India. I understand, it is not a Sikh festival, but we must not slander or look down upon it, as it promotes good ethics and values.
