Guru Granth Sahib Quotes On Body, Fitness And Health?

Recommended Posts

Sorry Bhaji but this is a false representation of the story made up by people to promote vegetarianism.

Bro, it is up to you to believe it or not. This is the arth which is followed in DDT.

Do you think you can interpret Gurbani better than Gurmukh Brahamgyanis of DDT? I cannot, so I will follow Gurmat.

God knows, if the Qazi was a tyrant or not. He used to be jealous of Satguru jee.

I wasn't aware that Guru Ji even knew the Qazi.

So what was the outcome of the sakhi?

a) The Qazi became more careful of his conduct?

b) The Qazi became a vegetarian?

c) The Qazi ignored Guru Ji's teaching?

ਚੀਤੁ  - can refer to mind.

OK.

I'm sure that the DDT aren't adding in their own words like sucking bones.

No one has denied that in this topic.

There might be many more meanings of this Gurbani tuk, which can reinforce more ideals too.

There may be more meanings but its not one that give a viewpoint on whether the veg/nonveg is right.

"Suck bones" is mentioned in DDT Rehat Maryada.

I am pretty sure, some people suck on bones, especially in India and Pakistan. I asked my father too, as he used to eat meat before. It might be considered as bad manners in Canada.

Cheet also refers to conscious, this example comes up more in Guru Granth Sahib.

Searchgurbani give this line as follows : "Those who suck the blood of human beings-how can their consciousness be pure?"

The arth which you have provided, is one of the arths of the tuk and it is right. There is no doubt about it.

I will let you know, after I hear the katha again. Most likely, Qazi must have attained liberation.
