Additionally, it might not mean anything to you if Bibis ever have equal rights in Sikhi because it will never affect you.  The hurtful stories about women in Dasam Granth do not effect you, so it's easy to swallow for Singhs.  Most men can't see past their own penis and so if something doesn't affect them directly, they will never understand the hurt that exclusion causes, the hurt that being seen as generally distrustful or deceitful because of your gender causes...  the hurt that saying you are impure because of biological functions that you can not control causes, the hurt that is caused by suggestion that because of the above things you are considered inferior to and therefore deserve less rights than Singhs.  But it does matter to many Sikhs... Many Singhs actually advocate against such degrading views and treatment of Singhnis and fight for equality, as difficult as that is for you to believe. Majority of Sikhs are not Sanatan Sikhs.

This is a 1800s pic of dasam Granth and Guru Granth Sahib Ji on the same level parkash. So Satkiran just shut up now. You know nothing and hold on to your feminazi views and can't look past that. I'm sick of hearing you rant on and on but it has no real basis. So just shup up.

Hopefuly THIS will put an end to the suggestion that Dasam Granth should be put on same level as Guru Granth Sahib Ji:

From Sikh Rehet Maryada

AND before anyone jumps all over SRM, ALSO FROM GURMAT REHET MARYADA, which is even more specific!

http://s8.postimg.org/bmv4ahglx/Untitled2.png

and in casthe first two didn't convince you... Guru Gobind Singh Ji's 52 Hukams... specifically #10:

Singh123456777 obviously and you know so much huh? No real basis eh?
By the way that painting you posted was froma  book by Sir John Malcom, based on his own observations...and it should be noted that even in cases of the few places that do prakash of both, Dasam Granth is always placed at a lower level:

3HO are even talking about producing a film based on the Sri Charitropakhiyan tales written by Maharaj in order to make Guru Gobind Singh Ji's teachings more widely known. I wasn't too sure if it should be a film but it could help educate these bemukh who deny that Guru Gobind Singh Ji wrote the Triya Charitar tales

If you do not accept  Dasam Granth in its entirety, then you are not a Sikh. Because, why even take amrit?

If we read Sri Jap  Ji as part of our nitnem and amrit sanchar, we read jaap sahib at the exact same level.

If guru nanak  Dev Ji work japji, he wrote jaap sahib in his 10th form. No difference.

I wonder what these people think when they open a nitnem pothi with aad  and Dasam baani together?

Keeping them separate and treating them the same poses no contradiction. Did you know that the guru kept shastar at the same level as him, encouraging their worship  (chaur, toof) etc.

I dread to even think what the over zealous self righteous now it alls think about Sri Sarbloh Granth Sahib Ji. Read that and their head would explode.

It's in Sikh Rehet Maryada... no other granth can be held equal.  It's also in DDTs Gurmat Rehet Maryada that only Guru Granth Sahib Ji is Guru.  It's also in Guru Gobind Singh Ji's 52 Hukams to only have SGGSJ as Guru.  If you place Dasam Granth on equal level to SGGSJ you are going against not only one Rehet Maryada, but several in addition to the Akal Takht accepted Sikh Rehet Maryada, AND Guru Ji's 52 Hukams.

Thats not to say that you cant respect it.  We also respect nitnem gutkas... but we don't place them on equal level to SGGSJ (even though it contains Gurbani from SGGSJ).

And there is an interesting discussion in another forum on here... looking at it historically on how much of Dasam Granth was likely commisioned by, but not written by Guru Gobind Singh Ji.  And believe it or not, I am not part of that discussion and they are looking at it with open mind.

The Dasam Granth Exposed Part V – The Sex Manual

Hubba, Hubba, Hubba! High Priests and Dasam Grunties For Lady Anoop Kaur

View Other Sikh Archives Dasam Granth Articles

Preface:

The contents of Charitropakhyan are pregnant with obscene details of neurotic minds reflecting the one-sided, anti-aesthetic, degenerate activities and vices of sexually perverted women of Vam Marag. Will the 10th Prophet impose on the consciousness of the Khalsa this superfluous and thoroughly anti-Gurmat material of disintegrated spirit to undo those healthy traditions of Gurmat balanced poise of Sehaj and majestic victories of spirit which were brought about and then established by the previous nine Gurus and finally by the undisputed Scripture of the Khalsa?

- Professor Harinder Mehboob

Editors Note

Large portions of the Dasam Granth (around 80%) were surreptitiously inserted by Udasi priests who were trained in Benares (Varanasi). One of the main architects of this deception was Mahant Sukha Singh who was the author of Gurbilas Dasvin Patshahi. He was also an author of the fake granth: Sarbloh Granth. The story of this priest is recounted here: The Dasam Granth For Dummies.

In the vein of this discussion, it is worth recounting that Guru Gobind Singh Ji never attended at the ‘Golden Temple’. The reason was that the ‘Temple’ was at this time occupied by Udasi priests, followers of Baba Sri Chand.

In the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries these Udasi priests made a concerted effort to gain control of the Sikh religious institutions. Sir John Malcolm who visited Amritsar in the early 1800’s observed these Udasi priests outside the ‘Golden Temple’ and commented in his book that these priests would change the Sikh religion (see: The Dasam Granth For Dummies).

What is never discussed in the context of the so-called Dasam Granth is that vast tracts of the book directly contradict the Guru Granth Sahib. For example, the portions, Chaubis Avtar (The Forty Reincarnations Of God), Krishna Avtar (The Reincarnation Of Krishna), Ram Avtar (The Reincarnation Of Ram) directly contradict the very first verse of the Guru Granth Sahib (The Mool Mantra) which explicitly states that God does not incarnate on Earth in any form. Perhaps no more than 80 pages of this fake granth can be attributed to Guru Gobind Singh. The litmus test for authenticity is straighforward, any portion that contradicts the Guru Granth Sahib is invalid.

The plain fact is that you cannot believe the Dasam Granth and the Sri Guru Granth Sahib simultaneously since they explicitly contradict each other. It is only the backward and illiterate Sikhs who follow the Dasam Granth. And that too without having read it. A real Sikh is required to be discerning of intellect.

A Note On The Picture

The comments of Sikhs on the picture above are interesting. The picture is highly offensive, but the attribution of highly pornographic stories to Guru Gobind Singh Ji is not (to them). What psychology is at play here? It appears that the pornographic content in the ‘Dasam Granth’ is not a big deal to most Sikhs. Of course, if the Sikhs who are making comments expressed a greater outrage at the content of the ‘Dasam Granth’ than the picture, we would remove the picture. But as the comments clearly show, the outrage at the picture is great and the outrage at the pornographic content is minor in comparison. This exposes Sikhs as hypocrites. Therefore, the picture stays.

From The Dasam Granth – Anoop Kaur , The Girlfriend of Guru Gobind Singh

By Gurpreet Singh Sumra

Editor’s Note: Gurpreet Singh Sumra. It a well known Sikh in Toronto. Educated, financially sound. He is a staunch Sikh. At the bottom of this article, we have have reproduced one of his poems.

Piara Singh Padam is a well known writer who has written many books. In one of his books titled “Dasam Granth Darshan”. Padam says that some of the sexcapades in the erotica known as Charitropakhyan from The Sexy Granth also known as Dasam Granth are actual stories, that occurred with Guru Gobind Singh himself.
We will talk about the story of Anoop Kaur, which is in charittar (erotica) no. 21, but briefly touch on the other erotica/charitar which Padam has also attributed to Guru Gobind Singh ji.

The stories according to Padam that happened with Guru Gobind Singh ji are eroticas (charitars 16,21,22 and 23) from the eroticpakhyan/charitropakhyan.

The Erotica – Charitar 16 :

Dohara
“teer satudarv ke huto rehat raye sukh paye
Darab het tih thaur hi ramjani ik aayi…”

The Story in brief :

Note : In this charitae The King or Raja is Guru Gobind Singh according to the writer Piara Singh Padam:

A king used to leave happily by the bank of Satluj river ,where a prostitute came to live. She was very beautiful, she was attracted towards the Raja, but the Raja didn’t give a damn about her. Then she assumed the appearance of jogi (hermit) and went into the court of Rajah. The Rajah saw the jogi and thought that he should learn some “jantar mantars“ (magic spells) from that jogi. So secret arrangements were made and at midnight the Rajah went there to learn Jantar Mantar.

The Jogi told The Raja (King – Guru Gobind Singh Ji) to bring Rice, flowers and GOOD ALCOHOL (SHARAB). Then the Jogi told King that I will show you some magic (chamatkar), I will change gender, as male I will teach you Jantar Mantar and as female I will have sexual intercourse with you. The King said one who teaches Mantar is like Father and Mother, how can I have Sexual Inter-course with you? Then the jogi said that I made this appearance to meet you, now have sex with me, come and lie down on my bed. If you will try to run then I will make a noise and you will be caught as thief and if you will not have SEX with me then I will hurl abuses at you. Then she pleaded with the King to have Sex with her, The King then told her that I came to learn Mantar, I will not have sex with you. She tried all the means but could not convince the King to have sexual intercourse with her.
Then she went out and started shouting chor-chor/thief, listening to this people came there. Then she told them that I was just shouting as I had a bad dream. When people left, she told King, that have Sex with me or I will get you caught. Then king thought that I am in a tight position, if I will have intercourse with her, and if a son is born he will become a pimp and if daughter is born she will become a prostitute. So King told her to bring “post, bhang, afim, sharab” marijuana, opium, alcohol

Dohara
“Post,bhang,afeem bahu gehari bhang ghutaai
Turat taran layawat bhai mad sat waar chuaai”

Alcohol was obtained after seven rounds (editor: of sex). Then after consuming these intoxicants she passed out, then King gave her 60 mohars and ran away.

Erotica – Charitar 21, 22, 23 :

There was a rich lady Anoop kaur, in Anandpur. She was attracted towards Guru Gobind Singh, so she called Magan Das , the Guru Sahib’s Servant and sent a message that if Guru Gobind Singh ji wanted to learn Bhagauti Mantar, then Guru Saab should come and meet her at night. When Guru Gobind Singh reached there, she told him she wanted to have sexual intercourse with Guru Gobind Singh ji. Guru saab refused and then she said that you should then pass through my legs. Guru Gobind Singh ji replied : ‘that person will pass through your legs who is impotent and can’t perform sexually’:

“Anoop kaur yo kahi bhog mau so piye kariye…’
aaj humare saath mitar ruchi so rat kariye
ho natar chhado tang tare abb hoye nikariye…
Tang tare so jaayi kel ke jahe na aawe
Baith nipunsak rahe rain sigar na bajawe…”
(charitar 21, part 27-29)

Then when Anoop Kaur could not convince Guru Gobind Singh ji, she started shouting chor-chor (thief), Guru Sahib started running but was chased and surrounded by other people. Then Guru Gobind Singh Ji slapped Anoop Kaur’s brother and took off his turban and told people that this person is the thief. Guru Gobind Singh left his shoe there. Then in the morning Guru Gobind Singh Ji summoned Anoop Kaur to his court, and told her that what you did was not right—, and at the end Guru Gobind Singh Ji asked her for forgiveness and fixed a pension of 20,000 rupees half yearly for Anoop Kaur:

“chhima karo ab triya tume bahur naa kariye raandh
Bees sahansa taka tise dayi chhimai baandh”
(charitar 23,last part)

Dohra added by a reader (see comment section):

Dohira
He was rounded up from left, right and all the directions.
Raja did try but he could not find any means (to escape).(4)
People pulled his beard and took his turban off
Calling him “thief, thief” they beat him with sticks.(5)
With the beating of sticks, he fell flat and became unconscious.
People without understanding the real issue, tied him up with a rope.(6)
They were throwing punches and kicks when the Sikhs arrived, too.
The woman shouted, “brother, brother,” but could not rescue him.(7)
Chaupaee
His face was hit with shoes and hands were tied tightly.
He was put in the jail, and the woman came back to her bed.(8)

Analysis

Now the point to think is that if this happened with Guru Gobind Singh ji:

  • 1. The story implies that Guru Gobind Singh ji used to tell Sikhs to read and follow Gurbani and himself used to learn Jantar Mantars.
  • 2. Why would Guru Saab learn bhagauti mantar and why would they ask the goddess for forgiveness?
  • 3. A Great and fearless personality such Guru Gobind Singh, who challenged the tyrant rulers was so afraid of this woman
that she would cry thief, that Guru Gobind Singh started running leaving behind his shoes and blanket?
  • 4. Can a woman threaten Guru Gobind Singh, and say that I will have you arrested by saying that you are thief?
  • 5. Why did Guru Gobind Singh fixed a pension of 20000?, a large amount even today, not to mention that time.
  • 6. Guru Gobind Singh used to make people consume bhang (marijuana), afeem (opium), sharaab (alcohol)?

This portion of the dasam granth is clearly a writing of some drug and sex addict. Whenever the writer or poet feels urge to have some intoxicants , he starts mentioning them. It is also clear from this Erotica and Sexy Granth/Dasam Granth that the poet used to ENJOY sexual intercourse after consuming intoxicants like bhang (marijuana), afeem (opium), dode, sharab (alcohol).
Shame on such Sikhs who say that this is the real story of Guru Gobind Singh ji. Wake up Sikhs! It is high time such writers and writings should be condemned. Such book should not even be there in libraries of Gurdwaras rather they should be burnt and banned from further publications.

The Sant Samaj, Dere wale babe and the Taksali support this Granth at the behest of Hindutva Agencies, because they don’t want Sikhs to read the bani in The Guru Granth Sahib. They want them to get attached to these sexy stories and want to divide them. This is the only purpose of the Government funded agency called Sant Samaj, to divide Sikhs and declare them as Hindus.

Former Sewadar (Jathedar) of Akal Takht Puran Singh openly declared that Sikhs are offsprings of Luv and Kush. This Sexy Granth also declares that Guru Nanak is from the family/khandaan of Luv and Guru Gobind Singh from the family of Kush?

The Message is clear. The Sant Samaj and Govt. funded agency, wants to declare Sikhs as Hindus. I will write in other article about this Luv Kush story.

It is the duty of every Sikh to challenge whosoever says that this Sexy Granth is the penmanship of Guru Gobind Singh.

Analysis By The Jathedar Kesgarh Sahib

In the video below the former Jathedar of the Akal Takht Mr. Satvinder Sinha (Jackass At Large), explains to a pack of jackasses ( the sangat in Sacramento) that the story of Anoop Kaur was written by Guru Gobind Singh himself and that the story refers to an incident in his life.

Charitropakhyan film has already been made. Watch MIRCH, a Bollywood movie which is based on ancient Indian stories (its not as explicit as the Charitars) Since Charitropakhyan offers mostly old recycled stories, the ancient stories featured in Mirch are actually very similar to the tales in Charitropakhyan because they have the same source.

Harjot Paji i have to say the video is a ridiculously weak attempt by those who stitched it together (not yourself) to dodge the issues discussed by Sarbjit Dhunda, simply by juxtaposing clips of Sant Ji and Giani Pinderpal Singh Ji, neither of whom are referring to or addressing any of the points mentioned in my post (in blue) below. As the topic referred to in context is Sri Hemkhunt Sahib which is now the number one tourist/pligrimage yatra for Sikhs from Punjab to visit after Amritsar (ahead of Sri Anandpur Sahib) when Gurmat clearly tells us that Sikhs should not partake in pilgrimages like the Muslims and Hindu's.

I fully agree with Sarbjit Dhunda that Sri Anandpur Sahib as the birthplace of the Khalsa Panth holds more historic resonance to the Panth than yatra's to snow-filled glaciers around Sri Hemkhunt Sahib. I fully respect that you might prioritise Sri Hemkhunt Sahib and the whole supposed Dusht Daman history and Sikhs who feel that way are entitled to that view.

But for the majority of the Panth the arguable previous life of Guru Sahib (claimed to be as Dusht Daman spent in isolation and prayer around Sri Hemkhunt Sahib) is not relevant (as Dhan Dhan Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj emphasised physical actions towards Sarbat da Bhala and the eradication of ancestry history and pride) and we should solely focus on Dhan Dhan Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj's lifetime in which they held GurGaddi and initiated the Khalsa Panth. If certain sects wish to focus their attention on debateable previous lives that again is their perogative. Hindutva forces and the RSS-supporting shopkeepers around Sri Hemkhunt Sahib are certainly more than delighted that Sikhs travel there from Punjab to spend their money and acknowledge the Dusht Daman ascetic story whilst none of the money wasted on these pilgrimages is used to fighting the societal problems the Sikh Panth faces in the form of female infanticide, drugs, biraderi apartheid, poverty or illiteracy.

Last but not least, you are aware that the clip of Sant Ji using the famous bemukh and nastik line referring to Babbar Khalsa Singhs is wholly irrelevant and from the era when Damdami Taksal supported Indira Gandhi and Congress in the 1980 elections. As via the Dharam Yuddh Morcha, Sant Ji turned their back on everything that DDT was doing in opposition to the Panth and focussed solely on Unity - whereby those Sikhs previously labelled bemukhs and nastiks came to comprise the majority of shaheeds of June 1984.

Sant Jarnail Singh Ji has katha after of bachitar Natak.  The clips ARE referring to the bani of Dasam Granth.  You heard Giani Sher Singh Ji.  The words of sant ji are full of truth.

We will not allow Dashmesh Pita Ji's Bani to be questioned.

From Audio Recordings from Sant Gurbachan Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale to Sant Kartar singh ji Khalsa Bhindranwale to Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale they have all defended Dasam Maharaj's bani Sri Dasam Granth.

You cannot dodge around those facts.  Sant Jarnail Singh Ji in the clip completely addressed and stated the correct Arth of Mahakaal,  showing that Sarbjit Singh was wrong.  They also Defended the history of Dusht Daman Ji.

8 minutes and 30 seconds of the video.  Ponder on what Sant Ji wrote.

This my is last post in this discussion.

After Sant Jis words whatever argument towards Bachitar Natak is irrelevant.

Nobody has commented on how Gurmat Rehet Maryada actually states that Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is your Guru and that you are not to bow or acknowledge any other as your Guru.

Sikh Rehet Maryada says same thing

Guru Gobind Singh Jis 52 hukams also says same thing

here is screenshot from Gurmat Rehet Maryada:

So how can we justify putting it at equal level as SGGSJ and how can some of you also say it's ok to Mathatek to Dasam Granth? Isn't that against Rehet? It actually specifies bowing...

I'd like to hear paapimans response.

I never suggested disrespecting Dasam Granth and I  am certain on some of the content. I'd just like to remain neutral on the rest.  But I would never disrespect it.  But I am wondering how some are getting around Rehet by putting it on equal level as SGGSJ and someone on here suggested Mathatek to Dasam Granth is ok??

katha after of bachitar Natak.

Mr = Yes Veer but the clip is back from a time when Damdami Taksal supported Indira Gandhi and Congress in the 1980 elections, so it has zero ongoing relevance in rebutting the issues at hand. Namely that the majority of the Sikh Panth do not accept that our Guru Sahibaan were Hindu Kings in their previous lives only from the two clans of Bedi and Sodhi and that these Hindu Kings did a deal to divide up the future GurGaddi (like a landholding is divided) between 1469-1708 between themselves in their supposed future lives as claimed in Bachittar Natak. Only the Sanatan sects of DDT, 3HO, Nirmale, Udasi's and Nihangs like Santa Buddha Dal believe that theory. Sant Ji turned their back on everything DDT stood for and Damdami Taksal's support for Indira Gandhi and Congress in 1980 by joining the Dharam Yuddh Morcha a couple of years after that.

You heard Giani Sher Singh Ji.

Mr = Giani Sher Singh Ji is a supporter of Santa Buddha Dal and supports Santa Sinh's work on behalf of Indira Gandhi in 1984.

From Audio Recordings from Sant Gurbachan Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale to Sant Kartar singh ji Khalsa Bhindranwale they have all defended ... Sri Dasam Granth.

Mr = Of course Veer as DDT and Santa Buddha Dal are two of the Sri Chand worshipping Vedic Sanatan sects pushing for a return to the Hindu Mahant's mode of worship whereby Sikhs are forced to bow to three Granths at a time. Obviously the majority of the Panth will only ever bow before Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj just like Dasam Pita did. The majority of the Panth will never countenance parallels placed alongside Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj and a return to the Hindu Mahant era when Damdami Taksal and Buddha Dal used to refuse Mazhabi Sikhs Amrit.

They also Defended the history of Dusht Daman Ji.

Mr = Again Veer i fail to see the relevance of old clips from the time that Damdami Taksal supported Indira Gandhi and Congress in the 1980 elections (an unforgivable anti-Panthic action which consequently resulted in the next 35years of misery for the Sikh Panth). I respect that you believe in the Dusht Daman theory (namely that Guru Sahib was an ascetic sadhu who lived far away from civilisation in the mountains near Sri Hemkhunt Sahib in a previous life). But the majority of the Panth who disagree with Bachittar Natak revere Dasam Pita for their provable historic actions on behalf of humanity in fighting for equality, justice, an end to tyranny and Sarbat da Bhala between 1675-1708 (rather than some supposed past life as a sadhu in which Dusht Daman never lifted a finger to fight evil like Dhan Dhan Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj dedicated their whole life towards).

Mr = Don't rely on old 1980 video clips Harjot Veer, ask your own inner conscience why the Dasam Pita who blessed us with the Khalsa Panth would extoll their own genealogical history as a supposed descendant of the Hindu King Ram Chander and the mythical Sun God? Given that history of Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj's GurGaddi clearly shows that Guru Sahib despised any mention of ancestry and strictly advised and emphasised to the Panth that we must follow kul nash and manas ki jaath sabhe ek hi pechchanbo. Guru Sahib criticised ascetics for their inaction, so why would Guru Sahib promote the theory that they were one in a supposed previous life? Ask your inner conscience Harjot Veer what is of more historic relevance to the Khalsa Panth - Sri Anandpur Sahib or Sri Hemkhunt Sahib? All 100% of the Sikh Panth have total respect for Dasam Bani. Just that the majority of the Khalsa Panth do not believe that the sexual erotica stories were written by Guru Sahib and nor do the majority of the Panth accept the claim that our Guru Sahibaan were Hindu Kings in their previous lives with GurGaddi succession pre-decided in the previous era like a business land deal between the Bedi and Sodhi clans as described in Bachittar Natak. The majority of the Khalsa Panth will always reject that story from Bachittar Natak and instead believe that GurGaddi succession occurred upon the basis of Bibek Buddhi, seva for Sarbat da Bhala and kamai. I humbly request you brother that you read Chapter 4 of Bachittar Natak and I guarantee that you will be shocked at the subliminal allegations aimed at the credibility of our Guru Sahib contained within it.

O Sodhi king! You have listened to the recitation of three Vedas,

and while listening to the fourth Veda, you gave away your kingdom.

When I shall have taken three births,

you will be made the Guru in the fourth birth."9.

That (Sodhi) king left for the forest,

and this (Bedi) king absorbed himself in royal pleasures.

To what extent, I should narrate the story?

It is feared that this book will become voluminous.10.

I didn't mean just bir rass but also all the advice missing from Adi Granth is contained in Dasam Granth (not just the Triya Charitars)

So Sikhs were clueless for 230 years during earlier 9 Gurus times? Were they dumb and not aware of the nature of the world?

Mrsingh your writing style with the '=' is so recognisible. I remember you from SikhSangat. Welcome to SA
