there have been cases of men raping men without there being gay connotations in the outside world. In prison, there is the element of rape being used as some sort of heirarchy but to assume that, that is all it is is unrealistic. forced abstinence from sex, makes men and women more volatile. many US prisons have realised this, and have conjugal caravans in their prison complex.
