Guru Ji says this is the only true love : ਸਾਧਸੰਗ ਸ੍ਨੇਹ ਸਤ੍ਯ੍ਯਿੰ ਸੁਖਯੰ ਬਸੰਤਿ ਨਾਨਕਹ ॥੨॥ Sāḏẖsang snėh saṯi▫yaʼn sukẖ▫yaʼn basanṯ nānkah. ||2|| ਸਾਧਸੰਗ ਸ੍ਨੇਹ ਸਤ੍ਯ੍ਯਿੰ ; ਸੁਖਯੰ ਬਸੰਤਿ , ਨਾਨਕਹ ॥੨॥ True is the love of the congregation of saints, through which Nanak abides in peace. ਤਾਂ ਤੇ ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸੰਤੋਂ ਕੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਮੇਂ ਜੋ (ਸ੍ਨੇਹ) ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਹੈ, ਸੋਈ ਸਤ੍ਯ ਰੂਪ ਹੈ, ਭਾਵ ਇਹ ਸਤ ਪਦ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਕਾ ਦ੍ਵਾਰਾ ਹੈ। ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਿਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਜਿਸ ਸਤਿਸੰਗ ਸੇ ਇਹੁ ਜੀਵ ਸੁਖੀ ਹੂਆ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਕਰਤਾ ਹੈ, ਭਾਵ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਸੇ ਰਹਿਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਤਾ ਹੈ॥੨॥ 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
CdnSikhGirl Posted March 27, 2016 Report Share Posted March 27, 2016 That is love for sure. But it is not the only true love. And it doesn't say it's only example of true love... What about love of the soul for Waheguru which Gurbani speaks of? When you recognize Waheguru in ALL you feel that love for a humans to the point that seeing someone experience an ounce of happiness after a life filled with tragedy it brings tears to your eyes.
