Looking for some practical ways ? does basic nitnem, and simran and conscious living covers this aspect of searching wealth inside you. because today guru ji were saying that if you are not searching wealth inside you then you are a moodh betasl. Shabad is on ang 309. My understanding is that Naam dhan. is the wealth. The collection of guhaj rattan-jewels is what you can find in the fortress within. All these jewels and treasures make up naam dhan. Naam dhan is the only measured wealth that you can take with you, everything else is left behind. How do you find the fortress?..........I would say, after you get naam Yes, the cosmos is all inside you and accessible. Basic nitnem, simran and conscious living is not really the answer to search for wealth inside you, but you can do nitnem, simran and conscious living to help get Naam. The layers of the mind over-lap and are closed up, thus hiding the jewel inside. You gotta open up and sometimes peel back the layers of the mind. As you go deeper and deeper into that state, the lotus open up and there you discover the true wealth. You might call it Mani, you might call it God, you might call it Naam daan as Lucky did above. And notice what happens to a Lotus when it opens up... o khil janda hai!! It blossoms - It wakes up. When you open up to life, this lotus also opens up, revealing the secret. Goes back to Jap ji, First Pauri, Hukam rajai chalna. When you open up to Hukam (life), this lotus opens up, revealing the truth, and when you follow that truth, you become sachiar. Just to tie it to our previous discussion - Look at the pic below. Do you see that there is Karta Purakh sitting in the center of the peeled back lotus? This is an anthropromorphic representation of the jewel in the lotus. Look! The lotus woke up! It depends on what exactly you mean by those things - basic nitnem, simran, conscious living. 1. What is your basic nitnem? 2. What are you doing when you do simran? 3. How are you living your life consciously? And 4. What effects have you felt in life, in your being, from doing the above? What results have you obtained? This should help us understand what exactly you are doing and what you are getting from it. To see if its working or not. If its working then great but if not you might have to tweak your lifestyle.
