All the swars are shudh, but to indicate the higher Sa I will put this symbol '>' in front, ie. >sa!

1) Sa re ga pa dha >sa dha pa ga pa dha pa ga re sa

2) Sa re ga pa dha dha pa dha >sa >sa dha pa ga re sa

3) Ga re sa re ga pa dha >sa dha >sa dha pa ga re sa

4) Pa dha >sa >sa dha pa ga re sa re ga pa dha pa dha >sa

5) Ga ga ga re ga pa dha >sa >re >sa dha pa ga re sa sa

6) Sa re ga ga re ga pa pa ga pa dha dha pa dha >sa >sa >re >sa >ga >re >sa >re >sa >sa dha >sa dha pa ga re sa sa

7) >Sa >sa dha pa ga pa dha dha pa dha >sa >sa dha pa ga ga sa re ga re ga pa dha dha >ga >re >sa dha pa dha >sa >sa

Just a few I thought of, they all start from the 'sum', if you want more let me know yeah? I got too much free time man!

Ps Bhaji I there is a great Rabab Namdhari teacher in Southall, can't remember the name, if you're around this area then I could find out for you?

Is he the bloke who did that boxset, plays with Surjit Singh Namdhari sometimes?

My only concern is that someone who is not an expert on both types of rabaab might end up teaching it to me like a sarod. Yet a kabuli rabaab doesn't seem to have the sustain for meends, etc. The persian (kabuli) rabaab music I've heard is much louder and faster.

Perhaps I need to get a seli rabaab. Has anyone got/played one?
