Puratan translation of Sukhmani Sahib into Farsi

Recommended Posts

Interesting work I found on PDL. Apparently a Persian translation of Sukhmani Sahib into Farsi, found in a library in Paris, France in 1921. It was apparently deposited there by Colonel  Antoine-Louis Henri Polier (https://www.allaboutsikhs.com/british/polier-antoine-louis-henri), who also wrote an early account of Sikhs (See Madra and Singh's Sicques, Tigers and Thieves).

It's interesting to note that such translations were taking place (in the 1700s?)
