Here in UK, when foreign people speak English as a second language, even if it is clear to me, they will sometimes put subtitles on TV programs. I think this is quite offensive to them, as they often speak better/clearer English (to me) than a native white English speaker who has a strong accent (like some Northern English, Scottish, Ulster accents, or even say, Americans from the South) What do you think ? 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
