Maryada for kes cremation.

Recommended Posts

Quite simply, how does one cremate their kes once it has fallen out.

I am not an amritdhari, regardless I would prefer to cremate my kes rather than throwing it out.

I live in a flat, so I'd prefer to do it in the comfort of my own home, and by myself.

What, and how do I go about doing this?

What paath does one recite?

How can I prevent the smell of burning hair?

How do I do this in a flat?

If you have any more information than please do tell.

Thanks.

I'm also interested. From what little I've seen a think a Ghee lamp is involved.

Great questions.
