My grandfather's family survived the great depression in what my grandfather could shoot as a kid. He was a savant marksmen. And the ecology greatly benefits from not only hunting but the money that comes from hunting. Good exercise and healthy workout which makes a healthy body. 3. Good practice of weapons. 4. One gets healthy wild meat full of protein. 5. Time in the outdoors allows hunters to gain knowledge about the natural world that surrounds them. I wanted to design a scope for rifle that takes pictures on the trigger pull so one could hunt without hunting, but it's probably good to actually kill and dress at least one hog etc in your life. I try not to eat meat, but wind up eating it these days, and I don't like to hurt things but fully support hunting.
