I have to say whenever I've been to public demonstrations in the past I'm nearly always the only Singh there (apart from the oldie lefties in the Indian Workers Association), yet I know my buddhist friends and christian groups always attend. But helping when there is a disaster or famine happens through organisations like Oxfam.
