It's way less effective than Sikhi. My advice is to not bother with it. I tried it for a bit, it's much more complex and slower. Involving a lot of physical manipulations of the body.

I've also read his autobiography, while it's an interesting read, he really seems to pursue ridh-sidh. I also believe that his teacher lied to him about a lot of stuff, and he niavely believed it. I don't know who the current leader of their group is.

If you're going to do yoga, if you want to do it in accordance with Gurmat, then just bother with stuff that's good for your health like pranayam and stretching and strengthening exercises.
