  1. What has to be realisesd is that there is an overlap between all the sampardas... There are Sevapanthis who used bhang - namely Sant Baba Vazeer Singh Ji Maharaaj (Mitha Tiwana Wale). Baba ji used bhang to prolong the time they could do tabla seva with Baba Shaam Singh Ji Mahraaj at Siri Darbar Sahib. There are examples of sevapanthis who merged into other sampardas. Bhai Kanhaiya Ji Sahai
  2. Guru Pyare Khalsa Ji, Buddha dal is in control of all other dals. All Nihang leaders are under the leadership of Jatherdar Akaali Baba Santa Singh Ji Nihang.
  3. You can find this quote in the aartaa of the Buddha dal Sundar Gutka
  4. tSingh well done for documenting the Sevapanthi maryada in such an up to date way. May Guru Ji keep his hand uipon your head... Siri Bhai Kanhaiya Ji Sahai
  5. U know wot they say about Guru's with long feet? lol Only Joking!!! These are beautiful pics of forgotten history
  6. Come on N3O post up some more of those pics
  7. The rules of unshorn hair doesn't apply to sehajdharis. There have been countless Sevapanthi sadhus who have had shorn hair but reached high levels of spirituality.
  8. I think that Bhaji Singh47 just needs to calm down and discuss the matter of Randhir Singh rationally wihout allowing his personal emotions affect him. At the end of the day if a person who calls himself a Sikh of the Guru denies a whole Ang of his Guru can he really live up to the lines of Guru Gobind Singh... "Jin Bhae adab na baani dhara, jaano so sikh naahi hamara." "That person who has no respect and fear of the word of the Guru, know that that person is not my Sikh." It is also said that at the end of Randhir Singhs life he asked Baba Gurbachan Singh Bhinderanwale for forgiveness and it was only when he repented for the sin of disowning baani thast he finally died... after a long painful death. It was the Randhir Singh Jatha who gave birth to such instituiions as the Teja Singh Bhasaur Jatha who reached such extremes that even Randhir Singh disowned one of his main suopporters Teja Singh. May Waheguru forgive those poor misguided souls who mistakedly disown the Guru's baani...
  9. Why was Baba Raam Rae disowned from the panth. Becuase he twisted and denied the eternal words of Gurbani. Literally Randhir Singh may not have idolised Ram Rae but he acted along the same terms disowning the baani
  10. I've read the works of Bhai Randhir Singh, but the fact remains that he was a modern day ram raeeyaa who disowned a whole ang of Aad Siri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. But if you regard a human being higher than the Guru thats up to you veer Mehtab Singh.
  11. This camp was organised by the London Intergrated Network of Kaurs and Singh (LINKS - a non-politican sikh youth organisation) it had no affliation to any other jatha or group. The Sikh Student Camp is said to provide an unbiased and neutral view of Sikhi which encourages the youth to discover for themselves what Sikhi means to them. Thant was for you Singh47 veer ji... Dhan Dhan Guru Pyare
  12. Ghol Patke da - Forget the meat thats not killed cleanly in one blow, Maas Chatke da - Accept that meat which is slaughtered in one blow.
  13. Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaaj did chatka to a goat in Gulaba and Panjabas house using a gun... The goat was washed by Gulaba whilst reading baani and then Maharaaj took out a gun (the only shastar maharaaj had with him at the time) and sent the soul of the goat into mahasamaadhi (as mentioned by Giani Gyan Singh). What is the difference from this and using a mechanised method like today? I have it on very high authority that if due to external pressures traditional "chatka" is not available mechanised chatka is also allowed. What is the difference? Kahn Singh Nabha has defined chatka as an act which takes on blow. If the animal is killed in one blow using mechanised methods this also qualifies as chatka. The focus is on the one, clean blow not on using a sword, gun or machine. At the end of the day it's about the one blow - any shastar modern or old could be used. "Ghol Patke da, Maas Chatke Da" (An old Panjabi saying)
  14. If he wasn't given a saropa from the fifth takht of Buddha Dal then these other saropas are invalid without the blessing of the then Jathedar of the panth Akaali Baba Chet Singh Ji Nihang.
  15. Gor more info on Bulleh Shah go to any good book shop andf buy his writtings or a book about Sufism Sikh and you shall find
  16. How can you call someone who disowned part of gurbani "bhai sahib"???
  17. For more info on the great service of Sevapanthis to the Panth see Sant Singh Maskeens new double tape set about them...
  18. any more pics neo singh please post them up, this camp must have been excellent!!!
  19. What a sorry state the Qaum is in when the sikhs of the Guru tear down the Akaal Takht due to their blind red mist of anger and rage... How did we let this happen??? Waheguru kirpa kare.... may the ignorant masses not be manipulated by the equally ignorant S.G.P.C again! Hopefully some of our history will survive! "Nanak Naam Chardi Kala Tere Bhane Sarbat Da Bhalla"
  20. Bhen ji don't you think it's interesting and valuable to the Panth to research where our Guru's are descended from?
  21. Just because the Gurus ancestors did something bad how can we cover up the family lineage? Bhenji with due respect any of our ancestors may been murderers, rapists or adulterers....Does this mean we are not related to them??? Guru Gobind Singh Ji himself mentions these family lineages in the Bachittar Natak ...And before you call Baba Gurbachan Singh 'Khalsa' Bhinrawale some 'Baba' get your facts right. Baba Ji was and still is one of the most respected and influential figue within the Panth. If you apply logic you can see that anyone can be related to anyone.... If a father is a murderer can his son not be a Saint? Where does this leave Bhai Bidhi Chand whose whole family were robbers? This works the other way too look at Prithee Chand and Ram Rae, just because there fathers were Satgurus doesnt meant hey were spiritually gifted. Bhen ji think carefully before you discard the baani of Guru Gobind Singh in the Bachittar Natak. Can you please read Bachittar Natak before you make your next point Bhen ji...thanks “We have just enough religion to hate one another, but not enough Dharma to love one another.â€
