  1. ਕਿਰਚ - Straight sword; Crunch Bhul chuk maaf
  2. Focus on the sound of Gurbani (please make sure that your ucharan is Shudh). In the beginning, you can also focus on the letters of Gurbani. Also, be familiar with the meanings of the shabads you are reciting. Bhul chuk maaf
  3. What is your source? I only see जोरू in the Hindi dictionary. As mentioned earlier, if we pronounce it your way (which is definitely wrong in this case), then the meaning will change. ਜੋਰੁ is pronounced as Jor-oh (slight sound of oh). The Aunkar can be kept silent too. For you it is a small difference, IMHO, it is a big difference. The sound itself is so different and possibly different facial muscles will be used to pronounce the words. Do an experiment. Stand in front of the mirror and pronounce both the words. Pay close attention to your nose, lips, mustache area, etc. You will notice how different muscles engage when you pronounce them. Bhul chuk maaf.
  4. Is Sant Syed jee still alive? Thanks Bhul chuk maaf
  5. Daas is not sure of the answer, but I think it has something to do with the magnetic field of the earth. Bhul chuk maaf
  6. Even thousands of Dhadris cannot equal the great vidya martand of the Sikh Panth, Srimaan 108 Sant Gyani Gurbachan Singh jee Khalsa Bhindranwale. Bhul chuk maaf
  7. Thanks for this video. Daas recorded this one. Can you please find the one in which Ridhis/Sidhis in the form of ladies (in saris) come to Sant Baba Jarnail Singh jee Khalsa Bhindranwale at Sri Hazur Sahib? In the future, whenever you find a good Katha tidbit, always record it for backup purposes. Thanks Bhul chuk maaf
  8. Today is Avtar Diwas of Eighth Master. Dhan Dhan Dhan Satguru Sri Guru Harkrishan Sahib jee Maharaaj. Bhul chuk maaf
  9. What's it made of? Benefits? Thanks Bhul chuk maaf
  10. According to Nara saab, the death of the king was pinned on the cook. He was made to eat the food, as a punishment for the crime, which he did not commit. Bhul chuk maaf
  11. There is another possibility that we will have to think about. Let's imagine that the cook reveals this assassination plot to the king. What if the queen comes up with a barrage of false allegations against the poor servant when she refutes his complaint? Who will the king trust now, the queen or a mere cook? From this perspective, the cook has been put in a very awkward position. Bhul chuk maaf
  12. Brilliant stuff. One can possibly face such a situation at a workplace. For instance, you have a manager or a supervisor, who openly harasses (on a regular basis) a fellow co-worker in front of you. What do you do in this situation? Now, you have to think in your mind (even though it might sound selfish) that it is very much possible that this manager or sup can harass me in the future too. Who knows. Therefore, one must take some appropraite action against such an individual asap. Bhul chuk maaf
  13. Chanakya jee believed that stupidity is one of the natural flaws in a woman. Please see the excerpt below (from Prem Sumarag Granth) which talks about the intellect of a woman: Bhul chuk maaf
  14. Chanakya jee also believed that women (on average) have more lust in them, than men. This is also in conformance with Sikhism. Please see the evidence below from Prem Sumarag Granth: Bhul chuk maaf
  15. Seriously b? Were you banned from the forum? If yes, then why? Bhul chuk maaf
  16. @amardeep The hunter word is not used in the sense of actually hunting animals, it's been used to refer to looters, robbers, etc. Please listen to Sant Baba Gurbachan Singh jee Khalsa Bhindranwales's katha for clarification: Please start listening at 16:45 min: http://www.gurmatveechar.com/audios/Katha/01_Puratan_Katha/Sant_Gurbachan_Singh_(Bhindran_wale)/Guru_Granth_Sahib_Larivaar_Katha/Volume_13_Ang_1168-1273/075--Sant.Gurbachan.Singh.(Bhindran.wale)--Raag.Saarang--Ang-1242.(Vaar).mp3 Bhul chuk maaf
  17. Depends on the avastha of the person. Bhul chuk maaf
  18. IMHO, follow that vidhi which advocates a greater number of repetitions, which has specified longer time periods and where more rules have to be followed. Bhul chuk maaf
  19. If we pronounce it your way, then we will change the arth of the word. By the way, the word used in Gurbani for wife is ਜੋਰੂ (Joroo not Joru). Even, in Hindi it is जोरू, not जोरु. Did you get a chance to have a conversation with Gyani Surjit Singh jee? Bhul chuk maaf
  20. What's the source of the picture? From Guru-kaal? Thanks Bhul chuk maaf
  21. Is there a Rehatnama/Hukamnama/historical document (other than Prem Sumarag Granth) which allows the consumption of boar meat? One Rehatnama prohibits the meat of a domestic pig. Thanks Bhul chuk maaf
  22. @RandyMarsh - Do you mean commercial meat? Thanks Bhul chuk maaf
  23. Please view the video below (Jhatka of a Rooster): Quote A huge respect to veer Bhavin Singh from Canada for having the love for Guru maryada to make the effort to obtain ethical kukar and having the balls to make this video showing the process. Also well done for holding an intelligent veechaar with the farmer and having the integrity to explain what our maryada is to her. Unquote[1] [1] - Bhul chuk maaf
