Did you take any medications that day (or the day before that)? Do you consume any intoxicants?

The author does a really grand job of paraphrasing the DG Chandhi/Durga narratives in english and comparing them to the original Markendaya source. What could easily have been a dry, monotonous affair is turned into a stimulating read that I beleive reflects aspects of the original DG texts.
Many of her perceptions seem very insightful, and I have drawn similar conclusions from my own limited interaction with Dasam Granth. Her analysis of CP is very good and goes beyond the usual tat about it being 'erotic stories' and whatnot.
This work is definitely worth a Sikh's time.
@HSD You should read this, I think you'd like it?
But don't you think Paaji that Sikhs, in general, should first listen to Katha (or read Teeka) of Sri Dasam Granth by Sikh scholars (associated with Gyani Sampradai or Nihangs) and then read such books by non-Sikh scholars?

After that event, did you experience a lot of spiritual bliss in your life? Did the duration of your Naam Simran (on a daily basis) increase significantly?

Where are you based? Ontario?
Listen to a lot of Kirtan whenever you get time or do Naam Simran of a certain Gurbani Shabad (related to Chinta and Dukh) over and over again.
Do you do workouts? Do you go for long walks? Do you take cold showers? Do you like reading books? Do you practice martial arts?
If Chinta (stress) troubles you a lot, then you can also try to take Herbal supplements. They might help you to calm your mind down.

What should you do with the petal that were placed on Guru ji with respect. Should you throw it away in the bin or should you burn them? Also should you put real petals on Guru Ji or fake?
VJKK VJKF
IMHO, it would be better to ether burn them or bury them, rather than throw them in a bin.

You might be right, but don't you think that if non-Jatt Sikhs were more influential in the Panth, our Panth would be, speaking overall, in a better condition?

You don’t even know about the debt levels of the government there, who their loans are owed to, the issues surrounding paying loans in foreign currencies with changing interest rates and the harm brishit management consultants have caused over the past decade to East Punjab. Have a clue about something before you start going on.
Can you please elaborate on the point above?
Thanks

If you look at some of his videos when he was supposed to be a Christian, he scarcely hides his contempt for it. He sort of openly jokes about being a 'man of God' whilst scarcely hiding his laughter. He may be a sociopath, and just using the religions as a cover or a shield.
But you are right, if someone is guilty of what he's being accused of, they usually have it in them in the first place.
He knows the culture/tactics of groomers well though. Imprinting on young virgins through sex, normalising double-standards regarding fidelity. Picking on weak willed, gullible women etc.
But I doubt even what has happened will have any effect on his popularity with certain types of females. Hell, even serial killers and rapists who are banged up get fan mail and even married whilst banged up.
Did you guys see a video of his brother giving advice on how to have sex with virgins?

There was a negative stereotype about the Jatts that they are into thefts and robberies. It is possible that Sri Satguru jee is trying to preach them the great Sikh morals and ethics.
@dalsingh101 - Do you want to look at the text of Sri Sooraj Prakash Granth, to see the context in which Maharaaj said the above statements?

From my personal experience, when I read lots of Dasam bani especially Uggardanti, my body asks for meat. I just feel like doing jhatka with full force and liberate the poor animal from the cycle of reincarnation.
Calm down bro. Do you think that you have the avastha to liberate an animal?
Anyways, don't you think that if one does a lot of Jaap of Sri Dasam Gurbani(the ones full of beer ras), then one must avoid eating meat? As eating meat might increase heat (Pit) in the body, which might make one more violent and aggressive in nature. What do you think?

for instance a weird fear comes over me, mind doesn’t want to do naam or bani, weird bad thoughts arise along with the fear, then once I get going with the naam bani it gets better
but then randomly at times the fear and thoughts would return and doubts, making feel like just stopping the jaaps altogether, are these karams? Spirits?
when I was not japping naam and engrossed in the world and kurehits my mind was more stable, it’s weird
If these negative thoughts (fear, doubt, past sins, etc) bother you a lot, then you may also consume some herbal supplements to calm your mind down. That might help you to get through this tough phase of your life.

It's great that you have started doing plenty of Naam Simran. Keep it up.
What you have described is completely normal. When one(for many people) initially starts doing Naam Simran, the mind becomes more and more restless. Many bad/evil/negative thoughts might bother you. Don't worry too much about these thoughts. Keep doing Naam Simran and Sewa.
Also, make sure that you try to avoid doing any bad deeds and sins (5 Vikars, 5 Doshs, 5 Kaleshs, 5 Thags, etc) in your life.
