  1. I take it you don't beleive in Bhagat Kabir Ji's Bani either then From seeing angels of death [fearing death] now I see but Ram [Ramachandar/Nirankar God]. My suffering has fled and comfort taken abode [in my heart]. Those denying God [the five senses], have become noble [having acknowledged Nirankar God]. Now I have attained complete bliss. I have been cooled [mind settled] when I appreciated Gobind [God]. In the body are found innumerable troubles. Now, spontaneously in comfort, I am absorbed in God. I have recognized my true self. Now no ailment of the three fevers affects me. Now my mind has changed and become Sanatan. Now I appreciate [Truth] having died whilst alive [meaning being unaffected by temptations of the world]. Says Kabir, in comfort spontaneously be absorbed in God. I fear no one, nor am I intimidated by anyone.’ (‘Adi Guru Durbar’, Raag Gauri, Pa.326-327)

Ok this thread got me thinking, http://sikhawareness.com/sikhawareness/viewtopic.php?t=4353 If the RSS are using a saffron(orange) flag, should sikhs not begin to use their original BLUE nishan sahibs(sikh flags) to remain distinct? I have seen a few old pictures such as, one the Jaito Morcha with Singh's holding Neela(blue) nishan sahibs Does anyone have any more information on the origins of the colour change from blue to orange?
  13. What a joke, a person who finds Guru (Satguru) you cannot change their mind what ever people write/propogate (Saffron flag)??? Bring back the Blue http://www1.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/ar...show/236936.cms "Raghubir claimed that RSS had earlier taken out a similar yatra during the tercentenary of birth of Khalsa from Patna Sahib to Anandpur Sahib which was led by Parmanand Ji Maharaj. He claimed that chief of Damdami Taksa, Baba Thakur Singh had welcomed the yatra and had arranged for the langar at Chowk Mehta. " Please Explain this ?
  14. Not just Nihungs that have belief in Sri Dasam Granth,Sant's know the deal too, just never been mentioned before. Sant Teja Singh Ji has been keenly devoted to the Gurbani. Besides the 'Banis' of 'Nitnem' and 'Panj Granthi' he has learnt most of 'Shri Dasam Granth Sahib' by heart. Sant Isher Singh Ji used to be charmed by his recital of Gurbani http://www.rarasahib.com/teja.htm Brilliant

WOW they are some of the greatest of this century, I recently came across a book called, "Sikh Saints" by Harbans Singh Doabia,in there he mentions that babaji Baba Nand Singh ji originated from Nirmalay.
  18. Excellent very good like you said everyone has this stero-type of lame, nahkame"lazy/non-workers"/druggies etc, hence, one can follow the maryada and live in this world as normal family man.
  19. With your wife everything is there for satifaction, to build relationship

  21. (These lines were impressed on a seal made by the Sikhs after the Guru left for his heavenly abode, and were adopted by Ranjit Singh for his coinage after he had assumed the title of Maharaja in the Punjab) I didn't know that I thought it was written down in Sri Dasam Granth,or some other text, has anyone any more information on this passage?
