  1. naunidhi, if u're in disguise, r u showing ppl who u really are? or r u hiding from them? and if u rn't showing them who u really are and say that u're someone else, isn't that a lie? but the point is that he hid his own identity to save his life. no shame in that. i consider it a smart move.
  2. *tries to get up but painfully realizes that all her bones have been broken and waits for someone to find and help her* i'm never helping sodhi again! dayam! so painful!
  3. why cuss neone at all? let it go in one ear and out the other. but hold onto the compliment that u got from me. cuz i dunno if u'll get that lucky again...
  4. i agree with guv on this. i don't wanna talk bout blood and ancestry and whatnot or even ethnicity, but rather culture. i believe that the Punjabi culture can be considered a subculture of the Indian culture, which consists of all its subcultures as well as some constant concepts found in all its subcultures. but i could be wrong of course.
  5. is the issue that he supported Islam or the fact that he said something true that u can't handle?
  6. uh... lemme think about it.... No!
  7. *starts to turn blue in the face because of sodhi's weight and her continuous screaming* SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVE *takes a breath* MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! *notices dynamic about to eat the jhootay popcorn* hey! stop! dun eat it! neo jootified it! i mean it! i saw it with my own eyes! *collapses from the effort of talkin*
  8. live in the present. but don't forget to learn from past mistakes.
  9. so it's more of tryin not to confuse nationality, cultural heritage and religion, eh? hmmm... seems like a nice mish mash of labels... this leads me to another question (an this is purely a question! i'm not tryin to be witty or clever or intelligent! i want an answer!): aren't punjabi ppl punjabi because they live in Punjab? so if the Punjabi culture is associated with the geography of where they live and the culture that emerged as a result of it, then wouldn't that same idea apply to India and Indians?
  10. hehe! i luv Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin! haha! poor Pari!
  11. *curses under her breath while she runs back to pick up klutzy sodhi* dayam chile, u heavier than i expected!... *falls and suffocates under sodhi's weight* someone save meeeeeeeeeeeeee!
  12. ur right. it's not right to segregate women from men and treat them as the "other" half. but the truth is that some Punjabi Sikhs will never let their daughters, sisters, mothers, wives, etc. go to camp with *gasps* other men present! it's a very negative and narrow-minded way of thinking. but sadly enough, it exists. now how can we take away the rights of these women to learn about Sikhi? and i think i mentioned this before, but there are times when women won't completely and totally open up in front of guys. it's called girl talk, and it happens all the time, regardless of whether guys are aware of it or not. and it helps a lot when gals can have their girl talk without worryin bout bein overheard by guys. i'm sure guys feel the same way bout their "guy talks" if such a thing exists. in one sense though, a women's camp is kinda empowering to women cuz it just goes to show that they can be independant an take care of things on their own. there's always more than one way of lookin at things...
  13. Akhilesh, i was bein sarcastic when i made that comment. i agree with everything that u've said so far. Sikhi isn't limited to Punjabi's, it belongs to the world and for neone who seeks the Truth. my question to all of u is this: what's with the i-dun-wanna-be-called-an-Indian attitude?
  14. *pulls Akali Sodhi out from under his bed* stop actin like a fairy! be a man! be strong! do the manly thing! run for ur life! *starts runnin as fast as she can*
  15. Rakash... my entire point is that if it's just for urself and not about other ppl, then why rush? why not take ur time and learn to really appreciate what u've got? tha's right sikh_fauge. live and let live, no?
  16. yeah, he's a regular casanova.
  17. i dunno beast. but even if they did, do u think they even get a chance to ask questions that he hasn't specifically prepared for or that show the "logic" behind his actions? the guy's scared everyone in his country into believing that he's their only hope to fight off the evil in the East.
  18. tha's so pathetic. why the heck are ppl so West-obssessed? :?
  19. sounds like propaganda to me. are these ppl even real? who the heck is loser-ish enough to go and try an destroy religious philosophies? what a total waste of time.
  20. uh... righty-o. i didn't see nething...
  21. i only have one thing to comment on, since guv and beast have already said everything i wanted to say... but why fight a war with such a high price when there was no need for it? why make anyone pay such a price when it wasn't needed? the truth is that the American government was war-hungry after its supposed victory over a weak country such as Afghanistan. there was no proof of impending danger from Iraq. so what has this price been paid for exactly? "educating" and "civilizing" the "savage" and "barbaric" Iraqis...? i don't think so...
  22. someone define the term nation for me and then compare it to the term religion... just to clarify and explain to me how Sikhi has become a nation.
  23. dayam... guv's psychic... Rakash, why do u have to concentrate on what other ppl look like or have? why not just remain concerned with ur own efforts? besides, i'd prolly think that the guy who sticks with his routine for a year more committed and potentially more interesting than the guy who took steroids and did all that work in 6 months. i'm sure a lot of other girls share my view on this. so if ur lookin to impress the girls, here's something that might help u out.
