For cold water. To get the benefits, temperature of water must be less than 15C, ideal is around 10C and less. Normally beginners start at around 22C. Gradually the temperature should be reduced over a course of few weeks. After several months of cold water, body gets used to it and it will not bother you anymore and will feel normal. Try to take very deep breath in regular fashion.

Should we believe in science or try to figure out science
sevak replied to sevak's topic in Science and Psychology
The mind is always analytical and logical. Science promotes this kind of mentality and makes it even more mental, analytical and logical. Look at Bhagat Dhanna, he was complete illiterate.. it was this faith that he met God so quickly. Similary, all other Bhagats such as Namdev, Kabeer, Sain, Pipa etc etc. Based on history... it seems God only meets more or less illiterate and poor people, while the rich spend their entire lifes doing simran in nice cozy comfortable houses. -
Direct PM me. Please also introduce yourself and give more detail about your study.

By severe ties .. i meant like "mental" ties .... like for example, when you are dying you shouldn't be thinking "oh wats gonna happen to my wife and kids." like that sort of ties. I agree with you on the other things. -

Do you feel that Dhruv, Prahlad, Ramayan / Mahabharat these are actually part of Sikhi History or in other words Sikhi is actually Real Pure Hinduism. Whenever I learn about these things I always feel that indeed Sikhi is the Pure Hinduism, but I am afraid to say this as some Sikhs get offended. In Sikhi all the devi / devtas are mentioned and their roles too. Also Sikhs are following the tradition of rishis, munis by keep unshorn hair and tie in knot in jura which is Satjug parampara. -
I am also ready to help.

I have been trying to learn more about Nanaksar Samprada. It seems that everything is not simple and clear. For example in Canada there are several Nanaksar Gurudwara and they all trace back to Baba Gurdev Singh. There is one Gurudwara in Edmonton that trace back to Baba Miah Singh. Then Gurudwara in India, Nanaksar Jagraon, that has various Sants in the lineage. 1) Do all Gurudwaras follow same maryada, which can be traced back to BABA Nand Singh Sahib. 2) How come there is no Nitnem bani read in the early morning deewan of the program. 3) During amritsanchaars do Panj pyari wear real kirpan. I heard from various forums that they wear dori wali kirpan? Thanks all for answering the question. I am really affected by Kathas of Baba Nand Singh Sahib and Baba Ishar Singh and I want to get connected with this house of Nanaksar.

Thank You Ji. The video just came up and I tended to listen as he was having strong and bold voice, but the things he was saying did not suit me. @5:07 he was saying which company manufactures oil in hell for kumbhi nark. This got me laughing, but as per many Mahapurkhs this is all real.

What if you have completed your householder duty of having kids, do you still need to have sex? I am talking about married person who is done having kids, but still gets Kaam vibes here and then. What are your thoughts? -
A Video I was watching on youtube said Baba Gurdev Singh got the seva of Nanaksar from Sant Ishar Singh ji. I might be wrong, I am new to all this.
