Veer ji i will yes as you are right i do need to make this my first prioty as i was looking today at Chandi Chirtar 2 online and the roman didn't match the words & didn't match the audio much. So i am gonna start hopefuly this weekend as its really important as my speech talking is really good so roman english wasn't that hard for me as i really wanted to at the time to learn nitnem and other dasam banis so it was easier to do roman english than learn gurmukhi back then.

No not yet veer ji but i am planning on learning gurmukhi soon as it will happen. You are right lol it sometimes does annoy using roman scripts as their are so many mistakes in all of dasam granth banis as i used and compared it with the audio so thats why i had to write out some of the pauris by hand or ms word as banis like shastar naam mala, brahm kavach and even nitnem banis have so many mistakes in them. My mum said in punjabi gutkas there are mistakes as well especially dasam banis.

Thats what i did veer ji in the starting i used gyani thakur singhs audio for panj banis as it was a roman english scripts i use for paaths.

Veer ji you are 100% right i myself don't listen or follow him either as i am usually very picky on who i want to listen to. His junior side kick NKJ is a 100% carbon replicant copy of him and recently their has been social media reports of him as well that were quite shocking to hear.

Thats very good veer ji. Where are you based in country wise ? As i was in the same boat as you when i was gonna learn my nitnem banis. I just used roman english texts on a english gutka or sundar gutka app is really good as well. I would use paathis like bhai jarnail singh or gyani thakur singh paath audios and would copy the sounds they made against my sounds when i was learning the banis. Its a long nice process when i started it a few years ago and really enjoyed it. I still don't know how to read and write in punjabi but thats something i will try to learn soon or later as that would help as many dasam banis are printed wrong as i have noticed so many mistakes in the transalated versions and punjabi scripts as well.

Can you speak punjabi fluently ? As that would help a lot learning gurbani.
