manraj19 got a reaction from angy15 in Dhadrianwala Vs Great Sikhs
I will try my best to educate them about this. In fact, since I came into sikhi, I have tried to answer as many questions as possible these ignorant Yankees throw at me at school. The first question is always in connection with my appearance and my dastar! The ignorants have no clue as to who sikhs are and why they wear the panj kakkars and so on!
Sikhs hating other sikhs doesn’t help at all!

Bulls eye.Very Inspiring!!!
Yes he has that repo amoung young generations. He is a kind of rockstar here in india .His dewaans are like rock concert. The traditional kathavacaks specially the taksali are very dull and boring to listen less of gurbani more of mystical stories.
Let us try to educate and remove misconception abt him to some of our popular members here.

In fact, he inspired me to take the Amrit. He inspired me to come into sikhi. I am very grateful to him for that. I loved raising my hands over my head for the Jaikaras: ‘Boley so Nihaal, Sat Sri Akaal’ at the dnd of each kirtan divan @ our local Gurdwara! I don’t get it, why sikhs hate other sikhs so much. My dad likes him too. He says young people can relate to him much better because he represents their era better than most others that no one even heard of! Good luck to them for hating him so much, I pray they will soon see their folly!

Why only these? Tbh, Gyani TS & G. KS are the two most difficult preachers to listen to! Baba Ji from Harkhowal is the best with his softly soothing and thoughtful voice. I can totally understand what he says because he is totally grounded and centred. I can relate with this Baba Ji, but not with the other two above. They are too *ffin* full of themselves, too egocentric, always flying and jumping to heights, only to be located somewhere in the mid-air! They need to come down to earth and stop their ‘look at me, I am vidwaan’ demeanour! Geeez!
They need to calm down for God’s sakes! Just because they sit on a stage does not mean that they are God! Where the *ff is their humility? When one follows Baba Nanak sincerely and from their heart, one exhibits humility, which is a number one quality anongst many others. Makes me sick to see the arrogance of Sikhs all over the world. They are arrogant to the bone which makes one to look the other way! Pathetic people!

Here are my top 5 questions for Dhandrianwale:
1. What inspired you to become a preacher?
2. What motivates you to stay focussed despite being surrounded by negative people with narrow focus, that refuse to grow in their hearts?
3. How do you manage to stay above all the destructive elements caused by those that lack your vision as well as your imagination, those that rather perish by not allowing the eyes and ears of their hearts to see or hear, on daily basis?
4. Obviously you are a great visionary, what are your chances or expectations of fulfilling your vision in terms of spreading Sikhi?
5. Have you ever considered moving abroad, writing books or giving talks on Sikhi in schools, colleges or even at universities, both, at home and abroad, something similar to the great and successful Yogi Harbajan Singh?

manraj19 got a reaction from paapiman in Tibetan Buddhism and sikhi
Tantric Buddhism preaches ridhis and Sindhis mostly. It’s to do with powers and so forth but the rest of Buddhism mostly preaches different meditations and so forth.

Also, ritualism was frowned upon during Buddha’s lifetime. He condemned blind faith and many other deceptive customs of the Brahmin priests. For more information visit this link below:

manraj19 reacted to salymn in Can anyone explain what guru sahib is saying here about women?
Guru sahib Ji is saying that our soul is a bride and Wahe guru sahib Ji is a groom and the relationship between the bride and a groom is always of love and affection. Unless a soul, which is also a bride develops love for the groom which is also a wahe guru sahib Ji, she will never obtain mukti and will keep on travelling through 84 lakh joons forever shifting from one body to the next!
