Simriti Saastra Bed all much different say, I know none. ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਸਿਪਾਨਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਤੁਮਰੀ ਕਰਿ ਮੈ ਨ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਸਭ ਤੋਹਿ ਬਖਾਨਿਯੋ ॥ स्री असिपानि क्रिपा तुमरी करि मै न कहियो सभ तोहि बखानियो ॥ Sri asipaani kripaa tumree kari mai na kahiyo sabh tohi bakhaaniyo. Through Sri Asipaan by your Grace I did not say. All, you have verbalized. ----- Quote "The discussion was with Waheguruseeker. He claims to have Studied Dasam granth. He also understands Punjabi. Verses are also given in Hindi. It should not be any problem for you to understand these languages." I know many whose Dharam Granth is The Dasam Granth. I also know some whose Adharam Granth is The Dasam Granth. Quote "Keep in mind that script of Dasam granth is Punjabi." Should the readers forget that The Dasam Granth is written in many Languages? One example is this Vaak from the SWAYYA you have referred. ਰਾਮ ਰਹੀਮ ਪੁਰਾਨ ਕੁਰਾਨ ਅਨੇਕ ਕਹੈਂ ਮਤਿ ਏਕ ਨ ਮਾਨਿਯੋ ॥ राम रहीम पुरान कुरान अनेक कहैं मति एक न मानियो ॥ Raam raheem puraan kuraan anek kahain mati ek na maanio. the Puranas and the Quran try to know Thee by the names of Ram and Rahim and talk about you through several stories, but I do not accept any of their opinions. The right translation in my view is this. Raam Raheem Puraan Quraan many say views accept none. The reverend Gurus sing often. Experience yourself. Acceptance follows. ----- Many readers do not understand Gurmukhi. Please provide your English translation and views when you want to discuss with someone about the chapters of Charitro Pakhyan. Please explain if these are Sikh Devtas or Avtaars, Gurdev is talking about. Quote "They say so because it has stories of Avtars." Are you sure that these are mere stories? Quote "Their statement stems out of ignorance as Dasam granth is more explicit in denouncing avtarvad than SGGS ji." May I ask why Gurdev has given it the title 'Chaubees Avtaar' and explained it elaborately when HE rejects Avtaravaad? Quote "That shows the haters of Guru Gobind singh sahib's bani have either not read Dasam Granth or they have not understood it." They might have read the Dasam Granth but they have perhaps understood the wrong translations provided by the pro Dasam Granth Lobby. Your referred translators are all wrong if the answer is no. It may be right that I am not able to understand Punjabi Script. Should I try to learn it further or not? Quote "The issue was about word akal purakh being in dasam granth or not." I requested you to find where in the Dasam Granth Jee the word 'Akaal Purakh' occurs. You found it. Thanks again for this. Please do not make this an issue and come back to the topic. The issue is why are you referring wrong translations of Dasam Granth Sahib. It is because of the wrong translations that some feel like rejecting valuable Guru's Hymns which are full of wisdom. Balbir Singh

The first line is this. ਅਥ ਚਉਬੀਸ ਅਉਤਾਰ ਕਥਨੰ॥ अथ चउबीस अउतार कथनं॥ VISNU`S TWENTY-FOUR INCARNATIONS. May I ask which word from the above Vaak is translated 'VISHNU'S'? ----- The second line is this. ੴ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕੀ ਫ਼ਤਹ ॥ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹੀ ੧੦॥ਤ੍ਵਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ॥ ੴ स्री वाहिगुरू जी की फ़तह ॥ पातिसाही १०॥त्वप्रसादि॥ The Lord One and the Victory is of the Lord. By the Tenth King (Guru). The above translation is not correct, in my understanding. ----- The third line is this. ਅਬ ਚਉਬੀਸ ਉਚਰੋਂ ਅਵਤਾਰਾ ॥ अब चउबीस उचरों अवतारा ॥ Now I describe the wonderful performance of twenty-four incarnations. Please explain. What is the original word from Gurdev that is translated 'the wonderful performance'? ----- The fourth line is this. ਜਿਹ ਬਿਧ ਤਿਨ ਕਾ ਲਖਾ ਅਖਾਰਾ ॥ जिह बिध तिन का लखा अखारा ॥ In the way I visualized the same In which dictionary 'Akhaaraa' means 'the same'? ----- Quote "Now to a normal man there is no doubt about this transalation. I do not know why you are fabricating your own translations." The respect and reverence of the Guru's words come after experiencing what they say, not reading their wrong translations.
