@paapimanGreat advice bhai ji,
@guest guptsingh Please try cold shower, breathing meditation, naam simran, physical exercise and the most important commitment. Take a challenge just for one month, plan a schedule and take ACTION.
Come back in one month time to prove us wrong!

It's Kalyug going on...
so difficult to watch these news.
People are so bad, mean and rude. Don't know what else we would watch in news in the coming years. Indian Hindus are after sikhs and Muslims in India, everyday there is a new story worse than the earlier one. Don't know how these people could act so bad.
Only God can help these sick minds.

because they want to safeguard their "spiritual wealth" which the more one keeps it covered, the more it grows by His grace.
I have noticed that Mahapurush keep their feet covered too with socks. It may be the same reason.

@HSD i agree with you. I have seen example myself very closely. My son's classmate's dad was CEO of one of the top charities (won't name it here). He would fly in business or first class as per his wife , often visit his family in UK from Africa, both kids in private secondary school, bought very lovely house within months of relocating his family in UK.
I read it somewhere that if you do good with kind heart then you got the phal of donation or good deed, if the other person don't use it wisely or misuse/ trick you then they would get their bad karma's result. It does not mean we should do good with our eyes closed.
Bhul chuk maaf! Not favouring any charity , don't want to offend anyone either.

So the whole notion of 'civilised' you posited in a previous post seems wrong.
As a person who grew up in India, countries like Canada , England etc are far more civilised than India. I know incidents do happen here but not as badly and openly as in India. Many of you are lucky to be born in western countries. Reality of India is far more cruel and harsher than what we read in books or watch in news Or may be my experience is different in these countries.
Bhul chuk maaf!

Apart from when brutalising the natives and burying their children in the backyard. Wake up women!!
She is a victim of sexual assault and helping the victims in similar situations.
There is so much going on in this world, no charity or person could help with all the causes or disasters.
Be positive bro !

Kaur movement is trying her best to help, but it is India, not civilised canada where law and humanity exist.
I played my part by donating to kaur movement, she has urged her followers to donate on Instagram ,so she could take further action.
Feeling very bad for the victim and the family! Safety is one of the reasons why Indian women are leaving India and trying to settle in western countries. It is one of the countries with no justice.

I would love to see sikh organisations uniting and taking action for this injustice. Feeling so sorry for the family and the girl, only WAHEGURU knows if this is the result of their past bad karmas or the other family has seeded bad karmas for their next lives.
May WAHEGURU strengthen the victim and her family!
MAY WAHEGURU GIVE SUMATT TO THE PAAPIS, SO IT NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN TO ANYONE IN THE FUTURE!

When doing saas saas simran one should be totally absorbed in the breathing and mantra and pay no attention to the body.

Would like to share this , if someone is struggling with naam simran and prefers to do with online sangat.
Recently joined telegram app 'waheguru tera shukar hai' by Bhai Amrik Singh Sadihari, there is live naam simran going on by sangat. They give duties to the members based on their will and schedule. I find it helpful, feel like there is sangat with me. It helps me to concentrate as i am a beginner.
Tried to play it during driving too, but find it reduce my reaction time on the road, so best to carry on with my katha kirtan .

I was having quick cold shower in the end after long hot shower , now all cold for nearly 2 weeks. The only problem is I do not dare to wash my hair with cold water as i feel chill in my skull and bones.
Using wim hoff app after watching his videos, his breathing technique is very good for stress too.
Would see how much it would help, i am on the mission to personal development, taking action instead of just watching you tube. videos or reading books.

What about all these otherwise healthy people just falling out dead? After getting vaxed? Like drs in good condition and professional athletes?
I understand the above as people having severe reaction after having vaccine and end up dying, am i correct?
It could happen with any medicine or a chemical. We could not predict how our body would respond inside despite knowing that it was fine with all the medicines since birth. Medics do ask for allergies, previous side effects after vaccines, medical conditions, current medicines etc to predict patient's chances of having an adverse effect. People have died after using hair colour or using skin creams too.
We have one young staff member who is severely allergic to many things, keeps epipen all the time, avoid eating many food and all staff are trained for his medical condition. Once called ambulance too because he was showing concerning signs. he had his all his three vaccines in hospital under team of special doctors supervision because of his medical condition. No general trained vaccinator could take such risk and end up performing CPR and then dealing with paramedics.
When the life has to end, it just needs a reason or sometimes people pass away while sleeping without any reason too.
I am not trying to convey anything here, just sharing my personal views based on our medical training.
Bhul chuk maaf

And Dr Dude says it would take monthly shots, to provide any benefit.
Sorry i haven't listen to this video, just know briefly what happened .
It takes about 10 to 14 days to build up immunity and it would be enough for particular strain for some time period ( may be up to 3 to 6 months). But this all varies among population based on our genetics, medical conditions, environment etc.

. I don't think that was needed for this one.
It was more precautionary step to avoid lockdown and hospitalizations.

It's very true that vaccine would protect for short period of time and against specific mutations only. We would need another dose as soon as that time period is over or the virus get mutated, same like winter flu virus vaccine.
Benefit of vaccine is to protect vulnerable population because their immune system is not strong enough to build enough antibodies to protect them. Covid vaccine was widely given to all population because of the uncertainty of this new covid-19 virus strain as scientists couldn't predict future damage because of the lack of scientific data. All this vaccine does is to help our body build up our immune system. There are many examples so far to prove that healthy people have died with no medical history, just because their body could not cope with the actual covid attack.
Now the virus strain is getting milder resulting in less hopitalisations, then it may be safe not to have the vaccine. Just imagine, what would happen if this virus got mutated with ebola or HIV.
World is heading towards downhill, its kalyug. Let's pray that we do good deeds, deposit some naam kamai in our bank balance before leaving this world.

@Sajjan_Thug well done! Keep it up!
Make target of sitting longer and longer. Some people do it in one sitting, just in couple of hours like 6 hours.
I completed second set of 125,000 today, would start third set again tomorrow. I think i would struggle only until surti start to focus, then it would be just anand.

Kalyug is very bad. I would not even trust him with his own children. It is a kind of mental illness that is releasing dopamine in his brain. Feeling bad for his family, his parents, his REAL LIFE VICTIMS who have suffered. No words! I feel so sorry for everyone around him.
May WAHEGURU save us all from this KALYUG fire!

In our culture, woman was not financial independent in the past and has to rely on man for rest of her life. In order to let her raise her kids easily, this trend was sensible and popular in the societies. In past, it was difficult for a lady to remarry even when she has no kids. My naana passed away at very young age and my naana's unmarried younger brother marry my naani. He raised my mum and my maasi as his daughters and we never knew he is kind of chaacha or step-dad.

Some Simran/ Meditation Techniques To Remember Our Bapu Ji.

Simran update
I have finished third round of 125,000 naam simran. It seems like i have too much dirt to wash off, missed couple of days without simran too, but most important haven't given up. Engaged myself in work politics, lost the concentration and feeling irritated these days.
Early stage is very difficult, kalyug is very powerful, understood the clever game between our mind and kalyug.
One thing is clear that there is nothing in the world that could save us apart from naam simran. The most powerful, easy to recite, difficult to concentrate on is the naam simran.
My counting of simran is encouraging me how much i have done so far. Waiting for concentration and pyaar to build up, so i could give up on counting. Lost track of inhale exhale technique, but easily waking up at 4.30 now and able to take cold shower.
My Journey continues...
