But for the one who are non Punjabi Das has seen the Birs in Devnagri scripts.Likwise gurbani is writtten in Roman,Urdu or Sindhi script. for Das as it is Preached libralism in Sanatani Khalsa and libral way of life the Birs with say Devnagri Script needs to be respected as par with Bir in Gurmukhi as for Sikhs it is the knowledge bestowed unto mankind which is respected. Ek Oankar Wahiguru Ji Ki Fateh Das appriciates your views. Das agrees that salvation could be obtained by worshipping stone as in the case of Bhakt Dhanna Ji as he had a true devotion. And for getting salvation being is obtained if God bestowed onto you(this is general you and not directed to anyone) the true devation(bhakti). Sikhism cannot force self views unto other. Case resin by Das is differnt. As Das was himself a hindu sometime back and many of his hindu relative still have similar practices in thier homes. In fact das use to do such acts as an idol of First Satguru was kept in 'temple' like structure in his old home and while offering water,curd ,milk on Shiva phallus(Shiv lingam) Das also use to put flowers in front of the idol of First Master. During BA Final year Das underwent a study of Braj Bhasha and Bhojpuri.They lead to understanding of verses made by Gurus and Bhakts. One from Tenth Master written in perhaps Dasam Granth as follow.Such verses lead das to oppose idolatory tooth and nail. This thing has to be agreed that there was no force but divine knowledge bestowed by Gurudev that ended Das's idolatory. Why not the same divine knowlegde be used to enlightened hindu brothers and sisters. In case of Dhanna Bhakt he did not have books like Dasam Granth to guide him unlike us which give direction to devotion by knowledge. And worship of idol more often is done as a mere ritual than with devotion.Problem with us is that our missionarries have not this knowlegde reach out to non Sikh brethern.Thats what das want from all Khlasa. If someone is doing rather undesirable act than it needs to be discouraged. But this does not means that Das supports all of thier views. All views are personal views of DAs. Today is 400th fisrt Prakash of our Eestt Guru(Divine guide) Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Das belongs to that school of Sikhs who belive that Dasam Granth Sahib Ji is as per Gurmat. But one thing is true,They are most exploited lot. Not only that thier enemise exploit them but thier own leader divide them ,on regional,sectornal or castist bases. Only answer to such thing is thier conversion to Khalsa order(das too was hindu before becoming Sikh). But being true Sikhs we need to remember the ploicy of Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Bhindrawale(who is considered as terrorists by many hindus,Das knows a punjabi making fun of Sant Ji by equating him with laden but his commnets to be followed are opposite to the idealogy of laden). As per him It is best for Hindus to be Sikh. But if they do not become Sikhs,Than they must be encourged to follow thier customs fully. Few Hindus wear Jeneu,or Tilak or Shika(choti on head). But Sant Ji Wanted such things to be encouraged in Hindus. As hinduismism is term of matterial(nation) so they lack sprituality. Lack sacrifise to die for faith.
