SGGS Ang 1234-9 once again sabad has a siharee on the dadaa....so once again it means when one dies through the shabad once again i want to say, gurbani is not limited to viakaran, but without viakaran u get false translations. dying through the shabad, to me, means to lose false desires and ego through the shabad ok, let me ask you, how can shabad die? 'vaahu vaahu, bani niranakaar hai' how can nirankaar ever die?
  2. the word shabad should be spelled SABAD(I)........there is a siharee on the dadaa Not that i agree with using viakaran every time, but when you put a siharee on the dadaa of shabad it makes the word sabad mean 'through the shabad' so to me, this tuk would mean... When one dies through the shabad, he kills his mind (man jeetai jag jeet), he loses his houmai, and is absorbed into god (nanak leen bhayo gobind sio, joi paanee sang paanee). can i ask you a question, I've been watching your posts for a while now, and it seems that you have a problem with accepting guru granth sahib jee as guru, is this true?
  3. u will find it in the katha by sant jarnail singh/sant kartaar singh......in gyani pinderpals katha he actually tries arguing that it isnt guru gobind singh jee's bani. In sooraj prakash i am pretty sure it is written that it is guru gobind singh jees bani.

  5. oh woops, i wrote the last line of my first post wrong, i meant to write... if someone knows the HISTORY of the bani, and can post it, it would be great. i've wondered about what a couple of the parts are supposed to mean for a while, and knowing the history of the bani or listening to katha baout it would probably answer my questions. there is also the sukha singh recording on ektaone (i think), its pretty goood

  8. panj granthi consist of sukhmani sahib, aasaa kee vaar, dakhni oankaar, sidh gost and baavan akhree. A lot of Singhs in puraatan times were nitnemi of these baanian, some still are, but not nearly as many. a steek is a translation...so a panj granthi steek would be a translation of the panj granthi if you wanna know the significance / history of dakhni oankaar listen to the katha of it done by gyani takhur singh on www.gurmatveechar.com , he can explain it alot better than me.

Either way tho, the files with mistakes in them shouldn't be distributed i think....innocent mistake or not.

  12. kam, have u listened to the katha done by Baba Hari Singh / Sant Gyani Gurbachan Singh on bhattan de swayae? I havent listened to it yet but i would be intereested in knowing what they believe the shabad in bhattan dey swayae means.
  13. i agree with you that Sikhi is anadee and that bhagats got muktee before akaal purkh took sargun saroop as Guru Nanak Dev Jee. But where I think we disagree with eachother is where these bhagats before Guru Nanak Dev Jee got amrit/naam from. I think we both agree that amrit/naam is necesary to reach brahmgian (correct me if im worng with this assumption). Unless you have alternate meanings for what is written in bachitar naatak about the founders of other religions, I don't understand how you believe that they could give people muktee. However, I do believe people did get mukti before Akaal Purkh took form of Guru Nanak Dev Jee. But I believe they recieved their amrit/naam directly from nirgun vaahiguroo without anyone coming between the bhagat and akaal purkh. As guru gobind singh jee tells us "Kaisae tohi taar hai, suN jaRh, aap dubio bhaav saagar." And the thing about bhagats having to come back after guru Gobind Singh Jee started Khande battae daa amrit, it coud very well be true, akaal purkh can start any maryada he wants as this is just all his khed, and i would think bhagats would be happy to stay in hukam of akaal purkh. So yeah, we have no disagreement here either.

I could be wrong but this sure seems to me like you are comparing Guru Nanak Dev Jee with other "Gurus" or other dharams. Maybe I took this out of context, but it doesnt seem to me as if I did. and i also assumed that these other "satgurus" that you are talking bout are devtae, or people like jesus, mohammad saab, buddha, etc. However, since you said "I swear to Guru Maharj..." I prolly took this out on contet, or misunderstood it, and for this i apologize my bad.

This is where I must disagree with you, because the last line tells us "paarbrahm gur nahee bhaed" so there is NO difference between nirgun vaahiguroo and sargun Guru Nanak Dev Jee. The only time akal purkh came down was in the form of Guru Nanak Dev Jee. Ram Chandar, Krishna, and the other devtae are all worthy of respect but they are not comparable with satguru Nanak who is no different than nirgun vaahiguroo, as this shbad tells us. All the other devtae/avtaars however were very different from vaahiguroo. To tel you the truth, I am not even sure if we should call Guru Nanak Dev Jee as sargun, but thats for another day, its time to ge a bit of sleeep If you disagree with my interpretations, I will be glad to read what you have to say...
  17. yeah, i knew that wasnt ur point, just htought i'd tell u one other thing i noticed after reading ur posts on sikhsangat...u shouldnt use gyani takhur as a reference for ur arguement, as he clearly says in his anand sahib katha for the pauri on ..."jae gur tae vaemukh hovae, bin satigur mukt n pae" that ever since guru gobind singh jee started maryada of khande battae amrit, no one can no longer reach sachkhand without following this maryada, and all bhagats that had achieved brahmgian before had to come back and take amrit before going back to sachkhand...i think its file 7 of anad sahib katha, but i could be wrong...i dunno if gyani takhur singh is right on this issue, but i think you make sure that you got ur info down before bedating with sikhsangat people...and if sant kartaar singh wrote that sant gurbachan singh and sant sundar singh had to come back as sikhs to achieve mukti, i dont think there is much oh a point in you using taksal sources to back up ur arguments.

  19. In case you don't know, the Singhs that were protesting asked for ghagga to debate with them b4 going up, they were refused and cuz of this they started protesting. Also, I have heard that tapobanis had a debate with ghagga and supposedly tore his ideas apart. However, I'll believe it when I see the evidence.

Also, when did I ever say I am against meat, or even that I am vegetarian? Did you jsut assume all of this? All I said in my last post was instead of making it look like bani contradicts itself, which i think is impossible, to look at the deeper meaning of the tuk and see what it is really trying to say. And lastly, what does Taksaal have to do with anything?
