  1. Is Guru Gobind Singh the Kalki Avtaar while Mir Mahdi is the Imam Mahdi ? or ? and the Sarbloh Avatar. has he already lived, or is he also a future avatar..
  2. so 96 million soldiers will assist Guru Gobind Singh Maharaj during the end of Kalyuug ?
  3. "when 96 crore khalsa would come they will come riding their horses" is this a prophecy about the coming of Kalki Avtaar?? i have never heard of it?
  4. just saw the video. how can 4 men with swords stop men with AK47s..
  5. Interesting. so how does the arms of Budha Dal knights look like? is it heavy modern weapons? do they have tanks, missiles, heavey anti tanks weapons etc etc? i do not know much about the Budha Dal,
  6. Javanmard: Is it possible for the Nihangs, to update their weapons, and use heavy artillery and modern weapons as the Hizb Allah army did? or is the Khalsa Fauj only allowed to use swords etc as these are the weapons that Maharaj had so much pyar to? i have a shia friend who says Imam Mahdi will fight with modern weapons as the ones the US are using now, as no one can fight with swords these days against an enemy that has modern weapons.
  7. the Awal Allah noor upaya is just awesome...... soo beautifulll i feel so sorry for them.. we have treated them worse than animals.... i really feel sorry
  8. i have read a similiar narration of what happend. it says that the pathan that stabed Maharaj was actually an adopted son of Maharaj.. Guru Gobind Singh had killed his father during a war, and he then adopted the son. at some point in his life, Guru Maharaj is said to have become tired of living, so he one day called in this pathan and said "from now, i want to train you into revenging the death of your father". the boy was not aware of who killed his dad, but he was then trained for many years. then Guru Mahraj one day taunted the pathan and said that i was the one who killed your dad, and you have to kill me now. be a man of your word and defend the honour of your dad. a really lame story.... i think its written in one of the old puratan book that people from this website often use as sources
  9. Maccullife talks about Guru Maharaj taunting and harassing prophet Muhammad which envokes the anger of a muslim pathan, who then stands up to stab Maharaj infront of a crows during a interfaith meeting.. there are numeroius versions of what happend.... i've heard that Sanapati's version of what happend is the most authentic as it was written a few days after the attack of the pathan..
  10. okay...and what is the play about? i have read somewhere that Guru Gobind Singh makes refferences to this play, but can you tell us what is talks about?
  11. could you please tell us who ferdowi is, what his text is about before we start to read it?
  12. "He spouts the names of the 10 Sikh gurus with more ease than he can count the names of the 12 Imams. His ancestors trace their lineage to Baba Mardana, through whom Guru Nanak spoke, and to the strains of whose rabab he sang his hymns." 12 imams? was Bhai Mardana a shia?
  13. so we should not say rahao, but insted just pause and reflect...
  14. The hadith is talking about the creation of Gods name before the creation of the manifest- the universe..
  15. a hadith says: In the beginning God created a Name with non-sonorous letters,- with an unpronounced vowel, an entity without a body, a name undescribable, of an uncoloured color, unlimited, veiled- though not covered with a veil, from all the senses and all imagination of God. God made a perfect word out of it,- a word composed of four parts, none of which existed before the others. From these four parts, he showed three names in order to resond to a need felt by the creatures- keeping one of them veiled; The hidden, secret Name. Of the three names shown, the exoteric name is Allah, - the exalted, the most high. Then he gave each of these three names four pillars, a total of twelwe pillars in all, and created thirty names for each pillar...(There follows a list of some 36 divine names).... These names added to the most Beautifull names make a total of 360 Names, all coming from the first three names that are the pillar and the and the veil of the single secret Name, hidden by these three names". i checked the arabic word for "part" and my friend told me that it is a letter. In Sant scholar Niranjan Singh Ji's book "Divine mystic reflections on Gurmat", he has a chapter on Waheguru Mantar, that the first creation was the word Waheguru(W-H-G-R) and he quotes a verse from Sri Sarbloh Grant Sahib saying that none of these letteres existed before the other. it took 9 yugas to create each letter, and after 36 Yugas, creation was created. can anyone tell us more about this? is Waheguru Mantar the Name of God being refered to here? it furthermore states that the last part is being kept a secret, and we will see that Guru Nanak 600 years later revealed the last letter (G) : In kalijug, Gobind is in the form of Nanak and ‘G’ of Vahiguru gets Govind recited. The recitations o f all the four ages subsume in Panchayan i.e. in the soul of the common man. When joining four letters Vahiguru is remembered, The jiv merges again in its origin.

Here is another translation you might like: Sarā sarīaṯ lė kammāvahu. Make thou the practice of the Name and the religious conduct thy 'Shariat', the first stage of moral life. ਤਰੀਕਤਿ ਤਰਕ ਖੋਜਿ ਟੋਲਾਵਹੁ ॥ तरीकति तरक खोजि टोलावहु ॥ Ŧarīkaṯ ṯarak kẖoj tolāvahu. Make the search for God and abandonment of the world thy 'Triquat', the second stage of moral life. Mārfaṯ man mārahu abḏālā milhu hakīkaṯ jiṯ fir na marā. ||3|| O holyman, make the silencing of the mind thy 'Marft the third stage and meeting with God, thy 'Haqiqat' the fourth one, by which thou shalt not die again.
  19. i see it different with the case of Uch da Pir as Guru Maharaj's life was in danger here. this is an act of Taqiya, and not a lie in it self.
  20. well brother, i asked wheter the translation is correct or not. it says: Hearing this, the Raja became fearful, and left his shoes and his silk dress, and ran away. (60) and also: The GURU in his assemblage declared to his followers that his shoes and silk dress had been stolen. did it get stolen or not?
  21. The GURU in his assemblage declared to his followers that his shoes and silk dress had been stolen. He also stated that if any of his Sikh, who would find out the thief, he would be liberated from the cycle of repeated births and deaths (3) hmm is this translated correctly? it gives me the impression that Guru Maharaj is telling lies to the sangat that loved him more than life itself..
  22. happy vaisakhi to sangat from Denmark sangat...lots of loooooooooove
  23. Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh. i am preparing for a speech on Vaisakhi 1699 at my local Gurdwara. i am using the katha of Ustad Bahadur Singh ji on vaisakhi as an inspiration, and i would like to add a few things: i found these verses in the Saka Sirhind movie and wonder where they are from: "You are wrong if you think, i had only 4 sons. i have thousands of sons, and in them, i see the four i sacrificed. These four sons were virtues from Waheguru, their body pots were to be smashed so that those virtues could be poured into the Khalsa." then it continues to praise the names of the beloved Sahibzade and the inner meaning of their names. i looked in the Zafarnamah but could not find it there. is it from Sarbloh Siri Granth Sahib? also i would like to know if the following narration of Vaisakhi day is correct as i heard it somewhere. it says that when Guru Gobind Singh Maharaj kneeled infront of Panj Pyare and asked for Amrit they said "Wait. What are you willing to sacrifice for the panth in order to recieve amrit- like we just give our 5 heads". Guru Maharaj replied " As you sacrificed 5 heads, so will i sacrifice 5 heads for the sake of Panth, Khalsa and righteusness". the 5 heads he is here refering to is then: 4 Sahibzade and Guru Tegh Bahadur Maharaj. where is this narration from? thank you in advance. i need to verify these info so that i can know if it is save to use them in the speech. Gurufateh jee
  24. i find it quite interesting, to see that in Islam, Jesus is not considered a law giving prophet like Muhammad and Moses, but rather a prophet sent with a spiritual message to raise the spirituality of man, instead of giving a new sharia and law.. if you read the bible, you will find scaringly resemblence with the teachings of Guru Nanak and sikh philosophy..
