In order to understand this concept at core, one needs to understand the "Karam Philosophy" which is very vast and complex......e.g (the 0.01% of Karam Philosophy) With our previous good karams GOD makes up our mind to do Path, but with our previous bad karams, our mind starts wandering here and there while doing Path. Without HIS hukam nothing can happen even a leave cannot move.....what to talk about our so called decisions. I strongly Believe what LalSingh is saying that It is GOD which does ALL things. HE does ALL this stuff based upon the Karam Philosophy........ now, here we will again say that it's confusing......probably you are right because a child in 1st standard (including myself) canNOT understand the concept of electricity but still the child belives what his elders say that press the button in order to get light from bulb......so, in short I just believe (canNOT understand) unless GOD takes us to some upper spiritual levels......till then I believe that GOD is the one who does EVERYTHING.

Dear shaheediyan, Firstly, I don't have any proof or reference for this saying, but it's a good idea to consider the following: - Gurus write Guru Granth Sahib Ji in Raags which means that Raag does carry importance. - If Raags carry importance, then naturally there are some properties of every associated Raag. It would not be 100% correct to say that Raag timings are not relevant. But yes, you're 100% right that GOD can be achieved without following Raag timings. We just need to remember GOD (without any strings attached). But still we cannot deny the fact that Raag and their properties does have importance. e.g If we are sleeping then alarm can help us to get up, but without alarm also we will be up but late. If I am not wrong, then "Chandi Di Var" path can be done at night. But if started at night, then it SHOULD be continued ALL night.......2 Singhs can take their turn whole night, but path should be continued ALL night........but I don't know what are the consequences if something did the path for sometime only in night.

So, we should come forward with the original tapes and send it to professional companies so clean it and to convert it to Digital. e.g Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji (RaraSahib Wale) has some video recordings which were having poor audio and video quality, but after the cleaning and convertion, the set of 20 DVD does have good quality of audio and video. Dear Unbreakable, I'm going off-topic, but I feel to share my thoughts on this. I understand that the one of who feels the real pain can tell how much pain it was. I cannot understand or measure the pain that your relatives might have faced in 1984. There are various cases in past where a person of one religion has killed another. e.g in 1984 so-called Hindus killed innocent Sikhs; and then in Punjab so-called Sikhs killed innocent hindus (during militancy). So, naturally for 1984 Sikhs are angry at so-called Hindus; and Hindus are angry at so-called Sikhs. My point is that: We should NEVER be anti-hindu or anit-anyreligion. We should ALWAYS be anti-WrongForce. Remember, the time when during "Guru Gobind Singh Ji" war with mugals, Sikhs were instructed to first-aid the fighting enemy of mugals. Actually at that time, we were NOT fighting Mugals, we were fighting against the force which was doing the wrong things to be society (Hindus/Sikhs). No religion teaches to kill persons of other religion. If Sikh kill innocent Hindus, then the killing Sikh is NOT to be called a Sikh. Sameway, if Hindu kill innocent Sikhs, then the killing Hindu is NOT to be called a Hindu. I personally do NOT like Hardcore-Hindu and Hardcore-Sikhs or any other Hardcore-Religion. Hardcore/Katarpanthi: The one who believes that their religion is best and the other persons who follow other religion could NEVER reach WAHEGURU. We're adopting different paths: Karam Marg, Bhagti Marg in order to be one with HIM/GOD or in other words say to be "Mukt". Therefore "Many paths one destination". But in order to be "Mukt" or "One with GOD", there is a condition that one must have a "Gyan" or "Atam Gyan" and this "Gyan" cannot be obtained without Guru. "Gyan" is "Atam Gyan" which means knowledge to understand the Nirgun Waheguru. In normal person like me, we don't have the capability to see the Nirgun Waheguru; in other words we say that Waheguru is everywhere, but practically we cannot see it in everything. Actual RAAB nu samjan/understand karan wale thing is "Atam Gyan" and therefore "Gyan" is must BEFORE one can merge with GOD through any path. ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਗਿਆਨੁ ਨਾਮਿ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਹੋਈ ॥ गुरमुखि गिआनु नामि मुकति होई ॥ Gurmukẖ gi­ān nām mukaṯ ho­ī. I would like to share one Saakhi of Bhagat Namdev Ji relating to "Gyan" as follows: ------------------------------------------------- Bhagat Namdev Ji did darshan of Sirgun roop of Waheguru 72 times. Once a Bramgyani came to his village and there were number of other Sadhus there. One Sadhu requested the Brahmgyani to tell them that which bhagat is Kacha and which is Pakka. That Brahmgyani started touching each sadhu's head and told that everyone is Pakka Except Bhagat Namdev Ji. Bhagat Namdev Ji was upset at this because he was thinking that he is getting Waheguru's darshan everytime he remembers, then why that Bramgyani called him Kacha. Bhagat Namdev asked the same question to Sirgun roop of Waheguru. Sirgun roop of Waheguru asked Bhagat Namedev to go to one Sadhu at particular place. Bhagat Namdev went to that place and saw that there is Sadhu but he was standing on "Salgram". Bhagat Namdev was very updset at this: Whyy GOD sent him to a Sadhu who has placed his foot on the "Salgram". THen that Saint told Bhagat Namdev to place his feet where there is NO GOD. Then, that Saint told bhagat Namdev: that's why you were told kacha. After this Namdev got BrahmGyan and then he utered: "Ram bole Ram bole Ram bolda, sabna gata de wich Ram bolda". das

tsingh you are right. Atma is NOT seperated from GOD. It didn't mean to say that during creation atma is actually separated from GOD. Actually, I intended to say that during creation: Atma seems (illusion) to be seperated from GOD. It holds ONLY till one does not reach Brahmgyan. Once anyone reaches Brahmgyan, Atma and GOD are one. But before creation and after destruction of creation, there is NO maya, therefore that illusion is not there. das

Guru Gobind Singh Ji has prepared Panj Payars by the order of GOD. It was also possible that any female have risen that day to give her sees/head to Guru, but GOD did raise only men. All the Panj Payaras did NOT offer themselves to Guru Gobind Singh Ji, GOD made them offer themselves to Guru Gobind Singh Ji, which means GOD could have risen Bibis to give their sees, but GOD decided NOT. We don't have any answer that why GOD did not raise Bibis. Secondly, in initial times, one of the Panj Payaras give Naam de Jugti to the person who is taking Amrit. The bottom line is "Naam de Jugti" has to be given by a Brahmgyani (who has already attained GOD). In ancient times, Panj Payaras used to be Brahmgyani or at-least one of them. But these days, we cannot say that. So, my short buddhe is saying that a female Saint/Brahmgyani can give "Naam de Jugti", but a Brahmgyani/Sant female cannot be one of Panj Payaras. You can confirm this from any true Brahmgyani/Sant either male or female that Bibis cannot be Panj Payaras. das
