Well the reason why i asked was , long time ago i read a sakhi, i think it was about Guru Amar daas ji, when some women came to visit them she wore a wail, and she had to remove it.

I was just wondering if a musli wanted to come to the gurdwara and she wears a burqa-- from head to toe. Would she be allowed to come in the presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Or would she have to take it off.

Is it safe for a normal sikh to wear a gol dastaar in punjab. Because i had a argument with my mom. She said don't wear a gool dastaar and don't go alone outside because the cops will pick you up. I kind of believe my mom, but i don't wanna stop wearing a gol dastaar. You won't believe she asked me not to wear a chola. Now i really dont want to go there. Anyone know what the situation is in punjab...

as far as i am aware sgpc looked at all the maryadas and came up with one marayada for the panth. I just want to look at this from an another point of view. punjab is screwed up in simple words... You wont believe i things i heard about punjabi girls and guys.. A typical scenario is the girl puts some kind of sleeping pills in the milk at night and gives them to the family. They all fall fast sleep. And then she goes out to meet her bf at the farm mottor. I have seen this myself.. When i went to punjab 2 years ago i couldn;t believe it.. in punjab.. but my sources (word of mouth) tell me this has been going on since the 70s

I had this problem in my late childhood and early teenager years. I use to get all kinds of nightmares, but it was good. Because i would keep repeating waheguru waheguru in my sleep. After doing this for some mintues everything would gfo blank. The sleep after that is awsome, you will only know once you wake up. The point is take advantge of these things because they can make you open the inner most parts of your being
