  1. Visiting this thread after 5 months. Have started to think about the inner sound again, been more noticeable again in last 1-2 months. I dont think it had disappeared but just was not actively thinking about it. The sound is still the same in nature, continuous ringing type, and the subtle machine drum sounds that come intermittently.

@Sat1176 I am trying to pay more attention to it as you advised. I feel its mostly on my left side, sometimes right, I am trying to pay attention to my gichi .

I was trying to get in touch with Bhai Dharamjit Singh ji to ask what sehaj dhun sounds like ? So I was able to speak with a singh who organises telegram for Bhai Sahib. He said sehaj dhun, and anhad naam are just different words for the Naam. He said he was also having these similar sounds. He asked me to listen to these sounds, whenever they come, with love, reverence and devotion.

So right now the goal is to fall in love with these, and listen to them as much , pay more attention to them with reverence, and hopefully maharaj does kirpa.  Speaking to Gurmukhs really help and is encouraging. 🙏

ps. I would not have remembered anything if I had not shared here. Its a good idea to keep journal.

Also another subtle detail I got from katha of Bibi Parminder Kaur Ji was that sometimes when we are not supposed to do somethings, the sounds can get louder essentially to signal us from stop doing whatever we are. I have noticed that couple of times in past when I was in tamo gun activities. maybe someone else can confirm that too ?

How long did your family symptoms last and how long it took to recover.  How bad did it get for them and did anything help. Waheguru

Fever lasted for 2-3 weeks, extremely tired and fatigued for one month after, doing better now.

My other relative in India had it really bad, he was admitted, but doing fine now.

  3. So I had this conundrum for a long time. Reciting it loud, and fully listening to it.  So I experimented to see how much time it takes me. My goal was to atleast follow the bachan of finishing atleast 1 sehaj path equivalent per month. So first I started to do 80 malas Gurmantra Antarghat/day. That took me approximately 1hr and 40 mins. Then I tried to do by chanting and listening to it. That would take me around ~ 4 hrs which was not possible to take out that much time. Then I switched to Moolmantra 6 mala/day. If I do it Antarghat it takes around 1 hr and if I chant it loud it will take 30 mins/mala.

So what helps me is finishing 6 malas moolmantar antarghat in about 1 hr. This gives me a sense of completion and mind feels satisfied. And then whatever extra time I have left, I listen to Waheguru Gurmantra and chant it slowly Waaaaaaahe Guroooooo or listen to Moolmantra. This time the focus is on just listening, and not on repetitions. This is what has worked for me.

Whenever my mind feels dull whether reading Gurbani or Moolmantar antarghat, I start chanting loud in a high note and that infuses a new sense of Freshness. But yes, my goal would be to spend more and more time chanting loud and listening to it. ... Dhun me Dhyan...

For whom bro? For ordinary Amritdhari Sikhs or for the Singhs (Taksaalis) in his Jatha?

    Thanks

    Bhul chuk maaf

It was mentioned under Patha di Maryada section, so especially for those Singhs who are partaking in Sri Akhand Path Maryada.
