  1. DHANBABANANAK veer ji, Baz made an excellent point in his last paragraph, you should read it again if you have already and reflect upon it. . Personally i feel as if you are too scatered in your approach towards the chakras etc. I suggest you gather yourself and pray for the right guidence. If your prayer is Sincered, without a doubt you will receive this guidence Altho you are not doing anything wrong, but any action without the proper guidence can be harmfull. So dont' take it as if im trying to create fear in your path, only trying to create better awareness in whatever meditation you do. I pray that you recieve guidence for it is times like these that we are most vulnerable and open. Also i suggest you read upon this site for better guidence http://p092.ezboard.com/bmovingintostillness
  2. wait till it begins to move around like a fish trapped in a bowl...and then becoming narrowed to one single point centered on the forehead. Sometimes the sensation will feel like small bubbles are popping where the energy is builtup. in the end be thankful for whatever you have experienced
  3. blessed are those whos hearts are open as your.... who transcends lables of religion and reaches to the hearts of Friends.........only Love can be such current.....
  4. Aagiya Chakkar – (Medular Plexus) It is located at the root of the two eyes and the nose. Here is situated an inverted lotus with 2 petals, white like the moon. Its two letters are (khya and gya). It is called the Udiyang throne. Here the yogis meditate upon God himself, the giver of salvation. Phal (fruit or result). Whatever fruit (gain) is achieved by the meditation of the various above-mentioned chakkars, can be obtained by the meditation of this single Chakkar. Hence the great souls lay emphasis on concentrating one’s mind on this Chakkar, named Agya Chakkar. When living force and mind are stabilized at this place, it has the potentiality of being able to practise Samparigyat Samadhi (Transcendental Meditation).
  5. Parsaad is nor Hindu nor Sikh. Parsaad is simply Parsaad. Now What makes Parsaad is the blessing of a Guru, or thru a Prayer an apple becomes Parsaad. You are not eating 'hindu' parsaad, but food that which is blessed by the different faces of that one faceless Divinity.
  6. why do u wish to stop it and how do you know that this isn't just an aftereffect of your effort of trying to work on trikuti. I suggest you do some reading on what Kundalini is and its effects. Do not fear anything for you have nothing to fear. Do not get entangled into the theories of visions of the future, ghosts, etc...you will only get sidetracked. Focus on your Method and method alone. These types of experiences become fearsome only when there is no guidence on what is happening. Is this happening to you naturally? I also suggest you pray with great sincerity for guidence before you begin your meditation.
  7. Wonderfull article. Someone had asked this question of why do people hear such sounds or see wonderfull sounds. It is said that when our Pranic-Energy is traveling thru our Chakra, that each chakra will induce different experiences to the Sadhik. Whenever this energy accumilates at a certain Indree (sense) like the eyes so we have experiences of great colors, same with when it accumilates at the sound sense, we begin to hear sounds of instruments..etc.
  8. freed ur like the picture encyclopedia of sikhi...lol
  9. duh what? Not all player of Iriver act like a USB drives. You have to use their software to donwload/upload music.
  10. are u able to explore the hard-drive in windows explorer without an upgrade to the firmware? In other words when u pluginto the usb does the h340 come up as an external drive or you have to use their software to upload/download songs? What option bitrates will it let u encode .mp3s in?
  11. iriver won't let you transfer the recorded files over to your PC. They consider that copyright infringment. I was also looking at buying it, but after it realized they won't let u transfer the recorded files to ur pc, i thought it was pretty pointless. Im pretty sure all fo their products do this, or perhaps the ones that i looked at did not allow it.
  12. don't worry ramnik ji, I should've been more specific.
  13. wow, thanks much for the post baz ji...really helpfull.
  14. I can't make a single line out of what u have posted. Thank you for the effort, but like neo said, i was asking for the 5 Islamic Prayers...not the 5 Banis if tha tis what u posted cuz i its all clustered. :? I guess i didn't make my request clear enough..
  15. That is an Awesome story...glad you are here to share you thoughts with us. 8)
  16. Surrender to the sound of his name....just let go and become the ear, don't direct anything, simply allow for the sound of his name to pierce your ears, let the sound flow within you freely, without an opinion of its nature.
  17. First of all that was awesome way of presenting your thoughts, brought a smile onto my lips.. thank u. My suggestion is that you get a one big brick and lay it across the river. Forget trying to work with small bricks, instead grab ahold of the most important ones and join them together. A bridge with more complex patter of bricks does not make it better. It only creates the illusion of looking great. Even the most Simplist bridges have outlasted the most complex ones. Be simple in your approach...do not complicate things. What you neeed is 2 Ropes of Surrender and Vairaag coming across the river. Tie unto them the steps of Love then Meditation then Love again and Meditation................. Begin with these, the rest of the step will follow in their timely manner.
  18. " HE AND ONLY HE IS THE TRUE LORD. HE IS TRUTH -- SATNAM. HE IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE. THOUGH ALL VANISH HIS REALITY WILL NEVER LEAVE. HE CREATED MAYA -- THINGS OF VARIOUS COLORS AND EMOTIONS AND DISPOSITIONS. HE CREATES ALL THINGS AND WATCHING OVER THEM, HE ALSO GIVES THEM GREATNESS. What a wonderful thing Nanak has said. He says God makes the creation, and having made it, He looks at it, just as a painter paints a picture, then steps back a little to view his work. He observes it closely, he steps to the right and looks, steps to the left and looks again. Then he views it from a distance, then he takes it up to the window to scrutinize it in the light and in shadow. He examines it in a thousand ways, as does a sculptor. HE CREATES ALL THINGS AND WATCHING OVER THEM, HE ALSO GIVES THEM GREATNESS. Thus He gives prominence and importance to His creation. So God is not against samsara or else why should He create it? Nor is he maya's enemy, or why should He bother with it? So the difficulty encountered by logic had no ground with the devotee. Nanak says not only does He create but He admires His creation and looks at it exultantly, thus giving it honor and importance. Remember, God has created you and having created you he has examined you from all sides, and He is still looking at you constantly as a part of His own handiwork, giving you dignity and importance; and on its own all sin will fade away from your life. If you remember this you will move about as a creation of His. You will speak and hear, fully conscious of the fact that you are His creation. In all your dealings you will be conscious of the fact that you are His and He is looking after you all the time. He watches over you constantly. He provides you with comfort and care. He looks at you lovingly, again and again. He never tires of looking at you. He is pleased with you for it is He who has made you. He is neither disappointed nor disheartened by your ways or else He could destroy you so easily. No matter how bad and sinful you become, His flame of hope for you never burns out. No matter how far you wander away from Him, no matter how completely you forget Him and turn your back on Him, His loving gaze is still fixed on you. For He knows that if not today, tomorrow you are sure to return. Sooner or later the prodigal must return, his coming back is certain, for the further you go away from Him the more unhappy you will become, like a little child who has run away from home. A little child, barely four years old, ran away from home. He took a small bundle of clothes and set out. A policeman found him going back and forth along the side of the road a number of times. He approached him, thinking he needed help, and asked, "Where do you want to go? Where have you come from?" The child said, "I have run away from home but Mother always said not to cross the road, but to stay on this side. Now I don't know what to do, since I can't cross over." How far can a small child stray? Even if he does, Mommy has always set a limit and how can he disobey her? How far will you wander from God? Even if you are angry with Him for some reason, you will keep shuttling between home and the road crossing. How far can you go and where will you go? Wherever you roam it is within His boundaries. Wherever you are will be within Him. Your anger is the anger of a little child; it is nothing but a part of love. He is never displeased by your displeasure. Nanak says: He gives you importance and glorified you. What He has created He surveys, and He likes what He surveys. "
  19. Aside from the mind playing tricks on you........take a shower before u sit down, perhaps the clothes you wore made u itch. I think everyone goes thru this, but i doubt it lasts for 45mins. Your mind is puttin up a hell of a fight.
  20. something that is essential and a necessity?
  21. Search for a discipline within freedom! Don't let yourself be governed by formulae drawn from decadent philosophies: they are for the feeble-minded. Listen to no one's advice except that of the wind in the trees. That can recount the whole history of mankind... ~ Claude Debussy
