Guru Nanak bani for muslims is in the similar place as it is for Rumis Masnavi and other taswuuf books. Rumi was persian and Guru Nanak was punjabi both states are not far from each other and the ancient ideologies are some what the same buddhism, zorostrainism and hinduism.
