  1. You equating the modern Hindustani with the Maharattas is problematic. They are two different beasts to me. The former is a newer invention in my books.
  2. Don't you get that the first people we'll have to 'crush' to do this come from amongst us and have backward, deceptive, self serving attitudes as part of their 'culture'.
  3. Why blame British Indians? Whites just roped in whatever phudus they could to help when they invaded us. Subsequently, our own pendus replaced them and went on do the same in other lands for the whites.
  4. Nice piece. Makes you wonder when you just know if something similar happened in Panjab there would be a lot of pendu women screaming like wild banshees doing that crazy self hitting thing across the chest.
  5. And what are the chances of the new guys not being western lapdogs?
  6. Are we seeing some parallels to the 'annexation' of our people's historic kingdom? Back then, the Brits were looking to refill their coffers after their disastrous humiliating campaign in Afghanistan. Having lost lost face they needed something to lift their flagging reputation, so the troubled but extremely wealthy Sikh kingdom was a good choice for attack. Here we have a similar loss of face in Iraq, with the fleeing of Basra and a problematic Afghanistan. Problems pop up in an oil rich nation. Brits get the diplomatic channels open to feel around for support, and find a bunch of other Euros are up for it. Not only this but some Arab mofos are also 'backing the cause'. Voila! But hang on, they say, we don't want to do another Iraq/Afghan and get our fingers burnt, so we'll hedge our bets by sharing the risk with the other like minded opportunist assholes and stick to using astars (long range projectile weapons, mainly from planes) for now. They say a leopard doesn't change it's spots and a dog's tail never straightens out. (And if a certain person - you know who you are - is going to come out with his usual Brit arselicking, apologist, sycophant abject peasantry for all this, benti, please do us a big favour and spare not only us, but also what shred of dignity you may possibly have left.)
  7. I don't believe so. There are certain specific problems that I believe stem from Jatts who are more preoccupied with trying to preserve jatt fortunes rather than wider Sikh ones. Also the surreptitious drive to preserve Jatt culture at the expense of development and progression of a more progressive Sikh one. That's what I hold them responsible for. I don't blame them for everything but yes a lot of crap does seem to stem from them these days. They are like Tony Blair, trying to cling on to power long after he has made a mess of things. In the meanwhile they have turned the Sikh homeland of Panjab into a cesspit.
  8. lol@ the unadulterated opportunism! Zulu. Apparently, death in dreams (if you believe in these types of things) signifies a closure of a part of your life not your own impending demise! It's moving on from something essentially.
  9. Normally I can't stand this women, but I'm going to try and watch this with an open mind just to get another perspective. You can see a little video clip on the link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p00frhxz
  10. Only a few people can translate that older stuff. Why is he depriving us?
  11. No Tony, it's probably just you trying to cover up the latest manifestation of the jatt rapist instinct. lol The lengths some people go to try and get laid..... Anyway, please try and keep me out of your conversations from now on, you horrible horrible pendu.
  12. Some of you people with your shocked 'clutching handbag to the chest' reactions make me laugh.
  13. I've known of one case where a visiting ragi tried it on with a girl in a Gravesend Gurdwara a few years ago. The girls dad sorted it out. Coincidentally (or not) the guy was the tabla player too.
  14. Probably Tony's pendu cousins and uncles type of thing. That's why he's gone into 'denial mode' so quickly. lol That being said, certain white girls need to stop acting so naive and attention seeking.
  15. Say what you want. The guy has a killer live voice if this is anything to go by: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cln-0FJmv3I&feature=rec-LGOUT-real_rev-rn-2r-6-HM
  16. This is bollocks I reckon. We've even had a similar murder like this in my extended family.
  17. What I don't get is why we appear to be the only community who still has to 'import' raagi, giani types from backhome. Why don't we have indigenously raised ones? Hang on, I know the answer. Because we are cheap and pay them poorly and prefer our kids going uni and getting nice status giving money making jobs. Besides, even this wouldn't guarantee sexual activity not taking place.
  18. Those chocolate ones look yummy.
  19. You seem to have no criticism for any lemming like bewakoofi apnay do? I can't help but think that maybe it's typical Indian thinking where everything is accepted no matter how gross or silly it is? This probably stems from feelings of powerless of Indians drummed in through corruption and inflexible social systems?. In the end, all your doing by this is removing 'agency' from the hands of apnay to one day maybe go against the grain by just shrugging your shoulders and saying 'chalda'. Social pressure is a strong force and can be used either way. If enough people disagreed with the way currents things go, to exert a strong social pressure to make people consider alternatives ways of thinking and behaving, we might just have a slim chance of at least having more of our society not buying into any and everything from abroad. We certainly don't have any chance of this when we just shrug our shoulders and say "oh, that's just how it goes!'
  20. I'm just parroting what the professor said. If the words are beautiful, it's because of the ones in the original source.
  21. What's the difference between ਸੂਝ and ਬੂਝ? Is there any?
  22. I'm just posting these for myself now.... ਸੰਵੇਦਨ - sympathy ਸੰਵੇਦਨਸ਼ੀਲਤਾ - sensitiveness, sensibility, emotionableness
  23. I know, apnay are like lemmings who are absolutely incapable of resisting any sort of external influence and just passively get 'shaped'.
