wow..k4ur, ur so mature 4 ur age... i was brought up in a sikh family, yet i wos prob worse than half the ppl in this planet....i'm onli startin 2 realise the true benefits of sikhi. i think the main problem wos that i was kinda made 2 wear a keski frm the beginin, so i made myself hav a bad reputaion in order to fit in..almost lyk bein the same as every1 else..i wos such a hypocrite i'm tryin 2 change now..and wot uve riten has inspired me so much. 2 c that ppl without religous background can speak lyk that about a religoin makes me feel......makes me feel pretty weird and ashamed. i dnt no how u do it. all my m8s r so materialistic and i'm onli startin 2 realise dis, as i wos one of em 2...they admin cut bout ppl behind dere baks..dey smoke, drink and insult ppl without feelin guilty.......i cnt bleev i used 2 b lyk that. ne1 on dis forum hoos lyk i wos..no's how i felt..i wos in constant pain ova pointless tings. i hav onli recently realsied how lucky i am 2 hav parents hoo r amrtidhaari, but i need 2 try and get more sikh friends lyk U...i mean if i had that sorta company everyday...boi would i understand and appreaciate sikhi a hole lot more.. neways beta stop rambling on..waheguru ji ka khlasa, waheguru ji ki fateh....

yep i agree wid u desi kundo, i would wanna luv or atleast care bout the person hoo i spend the rest of my life wid. i'm surprised at how succesful arranged marriages rele are as oppose 2 otha "choose ur oown guy" marriages. and its the same wid me monk, i'm da onli gal hoo ties a keski in da hole sch...of bout 700 ppl and there r onli lyk 3 otha sikh gals...no one messes wid me either, but i dnt think its coz they no i can beat them up 8)..lol.... , but more 2 do wid da fact that they respect me 4 havin the courage 2 wear a keski. i used 2 try an fit in by bein "bad", buildin up a repuation of bein hard and generaly doin the opposite of wot sikh intends us 2 do, but i slowly realised dat if u look in2 sikhi, its more bout bein a gd person, and if u cnt b that, then ur nt nethin...so basically i wos bein a complete hypocrite and givin sikhi a bad name.... dnt make the same mistake as me..its hard 2 liv dwn a reputaion of bein "redy 4 nethin" and "rebellious"

i've noticed that the ppl hoo doo it r either mone, or not rele very devoted sikhs. they dnt rele have ne respect 4 the religoin and proberly dnt folow it..i no i'm generalising sumwhat, but i'm speakin bout the majority... therfore it dusnt matta 2 em wether sum1 piises on the khanda...they' dget more pissed off bout sum1 pisin on their car and would ignore the fact that there wos a khanda on it. its lyk da ppl hoo go round wearin those khande things rapped round their arms.....its startin 2 becum more of a fasion statement rather than a religous symbol...

i believe that if this surgery is a matter of a life and death, then waheguru would allow the removing of hair to take place.... but i think the sikh would have to go to the panj pyaare on some advice before and after the surgery. keeping ur hair is not more important to waheguru, than living or leading a healthy life. He wants wots best for us
