yes what u eat really does affect you. its important to maintain a ying yang balance in the body. ying i THINK is associated with inaction, passiveness, also sweet things - "feminine" qualities. yang is associated with action, movement, bitter things - "masculine" stuff. im no herbal doctor or ying yang specialist but i would classify parshad as ying (correct me if im wrong)......and since i can imagine in the gurus times the singhs would be pretty "yang"...doing alot of gatka...lots of kareleh lol.......yang stuff...actually looking back thats probably a load of BS but its the best thing i cud think of.....u never know i might be right either way, food does have an affect on u, n it is important to maintain a ying yang balance.

narsingha at the end of one of the 3 chandi stories guruji writes that one of the main reasons he writes these is because translating such works are a interesting pasttime for him. other reasons for translating it are for bir raas and the subtle metaphores which relate to destruction of 5 sins etc. how does chandi di var prove guruji worshipped devi? do u agree with gyani gyan singhs work that guruji tried to sacrifice his kiddies to him? do u think thats right?

fatehsingh....sorry i cant act like an adult......maybe its cuz im still a kid wot r u chatting about, sikh historians have changed the date of guru hargobinds birth 5 years back when they discovered the bhatt vahis, as the one given in panth prakash was WRONG......gyani gyan singh wrote stuff in the MID 1800s......how is that just after guruji passed? lallehsvari.....i cant read braj so my opinions are irrelevant.....sorry im too moorakh for u i dotn think this forum is good for ur scholarly capabilities......why not go have a intellectual discussion with a well versed intellectual scholar over a cup of tea and a scone

2 b honest im not quite following the shia stuff but anyway: there are 2 main groups in islam, sunnis and shias, the sunnis tend to be more aggressive and missionary, sortov like your average stereotyped crazy mullah, and are in the big majority. the shias tend to be a little more chilled from what i know, less into the missionary stuff and more into the spiritual side (is that right?). the quran is obviously the holy book of muslims, and the hadiths are the historical accounts of mohammeds life - they are the funniest lol according to mr lallehsvari, the sunnis are infact totally wrong and mohammed was in line with shia ideas, and all hte hadiths which i have quoted are only used by sunnis and hence false. sahih bukhari is the name of the collection of the particular hadith - eg compare "hadith" to "rahitnama" and "sahih bukhari" to "bhai nand lals rahitnamas"......sahih bukhari accounts are said to be the most reliable (by sunnis, that is) personally, ive never met a shia muslim, so i dont know what they are like.

actually to some people it is a kurehit so it depends on your viewpoint really........but for me id rather avoid it, but if it was a neccesity its not that bad.

urmmmmmmm hold up when i say "muslim" i mean sunni muslim.....becuz its sunni muslims that are a threat to the planet! what i have gathered is generally sufis and shias are safe.....but these questions are aimed at hte sunnis who are intent on destroying sikhi in the uk..........c? if "everyone" knows the shias are right, why are shias in a tiny minority? yeh k, they might be right in terms of what mo was really like, but the islam now (predominatly sunni) is the one which will pose a threat in the near future when they try and take over the world btw....those questions havent been refuted, if you are a sunni you take sahih bukhari as the most reliable hadith, and hence all the questions pose quite a problem. hell even if you are a shia, the mathematical problem of the inheritance section in the quran, and even some of the scientific absurdities, CANNOT be refuted. anyways....since u seem 2 b more clued up on islam than i am, can u refute all my questions from a sunni point of view

no, in gyani gyan singhs work it claims that guru ji wanted to literally sacrifice his children to chandi, and was about to do so before mata gujri stopped him, when he said something like "you are no mata, you are..." (i forget what, but it wasnt very nice)
