Koi Posted July 21, 2009 Report Share Posted July 21, 2009 Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh In the Faridkot Steek, it says that the 39th pauri is written by Sri Guru Raam Daas Ji and the 40th pauri is written by Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji. And (obviously) in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj Ji, Anand Sahib Ji is only authored by Sri Guru Amar Daas Ji. Please can the sangat give their view/opinion on this, as I'm trying to find the answer between the two. Who is it written by, how wellknown is it today, who uses it and which teeka was used prior to this one? And how different is it really from that of Prof. Sahib Singh? Kam1825 Posted July 21, 2009 Report Share Posted July 21, 2009 Faridkot Teeka is the first teeka written onthe Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji by Giani Badan Singh Nirmala. you can download it from www.ik13.com Sampardai has it the same. it is similar to the teeka of jap ji sahib where the salok is written by mahalla 2 and how one of the saloks in salok mahalla 9 is by Sri Guru gobind singh ji 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
