History Of 96 Krori

On a related note. Forgive the minor excursion.

When you trawl through the surviving literature of the late 1700s to mid 1800s, you don't seem to have mention of Nihung Dals with the names they have now.

Are there any old references to the various dals (i.e. Bidhi Chand, 96 Krori etc.) using these names or are the names a modern phenomena?

A far as I know, there was a division of Sikh forces into Budhha and Tarauna dals but I'm wondering what the nihung divisions were when Akali Phoola Singh was about? Did we have various dals then or were they centralised as one under Phoola Singh?
