Xylitol Posted June 21, 2010 Report Share Posted June 21, 2010 wjkkwjkf my advice is to take it one bani at a time. it's hard to start doing all the banis at once. just add one, then after you get used to it, add another. in this way you'll be able to handle amritdhari jeevan along with living in the duniya. when your parents see that, they'll be more likely to give permission for Amrit. but even if they don't, our spiritual parents are more important than our biological parents, and there is certainly nothing wrong with disobeying parents to take amrit. as for the glow, i've heard that life is much harder living wiht the glow on the outside. some sikhs do ardass and ask god to hide the glow from others, to put it on the inside. cleaning sangats shoes and japping naam is essential during this time. with the glow on the outside, there is a lot of vadiyee and that can be hard to handle. wjkkwjkf 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
