Yes, 72,000 nadis are mentioned in gurbani and yoga texts. There are also many points of high densities where energy has greater magnitude. WIth rom rom, these can be felt all over the body but with regards to the back I would say that T6 -T7 region and also the L1 - L2 can be areas where jap can be felt more prominently.
