It’s healthy for the future of Punjabi language and hopefully these people remember who they are again.

It's not healthy for Sikh security (especially females) given what these people have been up to. In future, any apna or apnee who opens us up for abuse (regardless of their 'good intent') should be harshly punished.

that would be weird since it a girl's school where they are teaching Gurmukhi

Don't mind me, too much stuff's been going on here. I'm on the hawkish side.  I'm sure inbetween us all, we'll achieve the right balance.

Do you still have this old booklet of poetry you did in your early days that I vaguely recall reading? If I recall rightly, it had one poem about your bapu (might be getting things mixed up as it's been well over a decade)? I recall that work because it's where I learnt the meaning of the phrase bandh kulasi.

that long went out of circulation. It was published in Bharind about 10 years ago and I understand that book is now out of print..Maybe on online someplace like 5abi.com

Yeah I understand why you would be hawkish about that..all I can say is I get that re the British Pakistani community,,,but I could be wrong, but a new certain type born and read only in Pakistan is wanting to look at what unites us as punjabis..They still are proud of being Pakistani as many of us are of being Indian etc, but they are putting those things aside and looking at it for the common perspective ...I guess what I am saying is give them a chance but be wary
