fateh1699 Posted October 29, 2003 Report Share Posted October 29, 2003 it is more in west that youth marry so early, b4 25, though indians too there are following the trend . in westerners there is nuclear self- oriented family culture, taking old parents as a burdensome liablity but thing is totally different in and punjab/ india ,here a boy or girl to to consider the points like getting decent job,first let elder sibling get married. the marriage age will go up with time due to less employment oppurtunities, a doctor/lawyer does P.G after professional degree get job and then marries. no doubt westerners marry early , but there is least AGE-COMPLEX in them as found in indians ,an indian starts felling himself old after 50's while a westerner is trotting across world at same age in past an amrrican of 60+ age conquered everest.
