On ang 695 of Guru Granth Sahib, Hanuman is mentioned and it’s written that hanuman due to karma of previous lives was not able to get rid of his loin cloth. Hanuman was not beyond karma and worshipping him is a mistake. But hanuman was devotee of Ram and was extremely loyal to Ram. He was ready to sacrifice everything and fight to any extent for Ram. Dasmesh Pita loved the Granth ‘Hanuman natak’. Guru Sahib kept it in His kamarkassa. Guru Sahib wanted His Khalsa to be loyal and devoted like Hanuman was to Ram. Kavi Kankan was a Darbari poet of Dasmesh Pita. Kankan added his own verses to Hanuman Natak.
