Vahiguru jee ka khalsa Vahiguru jee kee fateh

Dear Sangat, my name is Kamaljit Singh and I am 29 years old. My benti (humble request) is to all the Sikhs around the world.

Please help the sikh youth to understand what Sikhi is all about.

Guru Jee blessed me with Khande-di-pahul last Vaisakhi day and with Guru's grace i am beginning to understand what the following mean.

1. Kirat Karni (Work Honestly)

2. Vand ke Shakna (Distribute a portion of your earnings to the needy)

3. Naam Japna (Meditatively remember the Name of God)

Speak to the kids about Sikhi. Tell them sakhis and the great history.

There are young Sikhs who are doing a lot of seva to educate non-Sikhs and Sikhs about the great Faith using the Media, going to schools, doing dynamic presentations, talks at Universities, colleges and lots more !

Some things to note.

1. Men and Women are equal

2. The attachment to worldly things should be replaced with attachment to Naam

3. Never speak kaura (harsh words) to anyone

4. See the Divine light in all people

5. Do Naam simran so much that your mind remains focussed on Vahiguru

6. Listen to kathha and kirtan. English CD's are being given FREE in the UK at the moment and distribuition is increasing.

7. Dust the sangat's shoes at the Guru's door (Gurdwara) to remove the Ego.

8. Be Khalsa, live the Khalsa way inside and out !!

sorry for the long message

daas Kamaljit Singh
