  1. actually veer ji , this speed is nothing some true gursikhs can do much much faster even 10 000 times faster . " ik doo jibho lakh hoye lakh hove lakh vees " they have lakhs of tongues to do jaap . waheguru waheguru ..........
  2. waheguru ...........................
  3. 108 mala will take (108*7)/60 = 12.6 hours for me to finish not 40 minutes . 1 mala = saying 108 times all right here is the mathematics : 1)for me it takes 7 minutes to say mool mantar 108 times . i.e to do one mala 2) therefore , to do 30 malas , it takes 210 minutes , i.e. 3.5 hrs we have to do 125000 jaap . to do it in 40 days divide it by 40 , so we need to say mool mantar 3125 times everyday for upto 40 days . (3125/108) = 28.9 malas for everyday i.e. aprox. 30 malas this is how my system works , other people may have different speeds . the max . i could ever get was 10 malas of 108 beads in one hour.
  4. Sava lakh is 125000 . if u do approximately 30 malas of mool mantar upto hosi bhi sach for 40 days , then it is approximately 1 lakh 25 thousand jaap. each mala takes about 7-10 minutes . 30 malas take about 5 hours daily . so basically its 5 hours for 40 days . if u do it for 20 hrs daily , u can complete it in approx. 10 days . we can easily sleep , that's no big deal , but its difficult to take out that much time if u have a job or something . but still its no big deal with gurkirpa
  5. thnx for the swift reply actually nothing , just looking for fellow sikhs to be with, i have heard they have got a great sikh students association too .

  9. I have heard a lot of gursikhs , sants doing the sava lakh jaap of mool mantar or asking their shardaloo to do it . i have heard people achieve great power after doing this . and there are also some maryada , or rules acc. to which you have to do the path , which i m unaware of . usually people do it in 40 days , also known as "shila" in some marayada . i have always been fascinated by this idea of doing sava lakh jaap and observe some mystical experiences . and i have heard kalyug , maya , also try to put obstcales in your path when u do the jaap . now i want to know , is there anyone out there who knows anything about the maryada , or rules of doing this path , or even a liitle bit of info about this or about some mystical experiences , or if anybody in your family has done it ? forgive me , if i said something wrong . please don't kill me please do contribute your views .
  10. dasvand means 10% of ur income every week or maybe every month . dasvand is given to guru ghar so that our living or money becomes meaningful . there is another dasvand that some gursikhs give everyday . that is the dasvand of their whole day . i.e. 2.5 hrs to be spent in bhagti . this is another kind of dasvand
  11. oops i m sorry , actually i coorected that afterwards anyways thx for telling
  12. i don't know much about him but here is a little bit that i know . He used to do seva in sri sachkhand sahib in nanaksar jagraon . as u already know , u can go inside the sachkhand only if u promise to do 2 sukhmani , or 6 mala mool mantar ,or 80 maala waheguru mantar , or 10 japji sahib . his duty was at the door of sri sachkhand sahib and to tell people to do paths . but after sometime he started taking money from people and said he will do paths for them . Sant Baba Kundan Singh ji who were the main sevadar at that time came to know about this. then he were talking to him about this issue in his room and scolding him with love . then some sardars who had come from kurali, requested baba kundan singh ji to take take balwinder singh with them , so that they can make a gurdwara there in kurali , baba ji agreed and since then balwinder singh remained there . but the pyaar between him and baba kundan singh ji didn't decrease . balwinder singh used to respect and love baba ji very much . i m not trying to say anything wrong or disrespectful about Baba Balwinder Singh . who knows his avastha may have increased since then . only god knows . so don't take me wrong . that's a little bit info i know . And by the way his keertan is superb , bahut rasdayak.
  13. when i look at these pictures! i feel so much shanti ! in the last picture baba ji are in a samadhi one with guru nanak . due to intense tapasya and bhagti , baba ji's sareer had become weak , so therefore he used to use a bairagan ( the wooden support ) to support his sareer. the bairagan had a flat surface from top and and a narrow bottom so that it could be dug into the ground waheguru waheguru!!
  14. when i look at these pictures , i feel so much shanti ... waheguru waheguru ...
  15. “In the process of devotion and love of Sri Guru Nanak Sahib if sleep overtakes, it is then better to fall in the well and die rather than live a life otherwise†said Baba Nand Singh Ji Maharaj at an Age of 5 t so happened one day that in the very early hours of a morning, the parents discovered the child missing from the house. He was not yet even five years of age. They first searched him in the vicinity and later set out to search him outside the village alongwith some other elderly people. He had taken a bath at 12 midnight at a well and was discovered sitting in deep meditation on a raised and narrow bricked edge of that well outside the village. He was seated cross-legged in samadhi nearly for three hours now in complete solitude. A little sleep could plunge the child deep into the well and surprisingly for that very reason, he had selected that spot. It appeared as if Bhagat Dhruva had descended from his lofty spiritual heights to re-enact and relive his arduous meditation and tapasaya in a new tiny human frame, but this time for the whole of his life. Elderly people having spotted him found him in deep ecstasy and total divine absorption. They quietly approached him and physically lifted him up to safe-guard against any sudden fall of the child in the deep well. When questioned as to why he had selected the raised bricked narrow edge of a well for his prayers, thereby risking his very life, he replied “In the process of devotion and love of Sri Guru Nanak Sahib if sleep overtakes, it is then better to fall in the well and die rather than live a life otherwiseâ€. Such was the unique devotional yearning and earnestness of this holy child. This was the state of spiritual awakening in him at that delicate age. Such was the mighty determination and resolution of this spiritual lion even as a tender child of five. waheguru waheguru !!!!
  16. these are the fotos taken by camera! waheguru waheguru waheguru !!!!!!
  17. CHANDIGARH/NEW DELHI, JUNE 22: Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh’s recent visit to a Canadian gurdwara, known as a hub for separatists, has triggered a political storm with the Akali Dal, BJP and SGPC demanding his dismissal and filing of a case against him. The Congress, however, defended his presence at the gurdwara terming it as an ‘‘unfortunate coincidence’’. It was reacting to a report in The Indian Express today which carried a photograph of the Chief Minister addressing a gathering at the Dixie Gurdwara with the ‘Khalistan Zindabad’ slogan behind him. Punjab’s main Opposition parties, Akali Dal and BJP, charged the Chief Minister with being ‘‘in league with a network of terror’’ and urged the Governor to act decisively in the matter. Charging Singh with ‘‘betraying a dangerously perverse streak in character’’, SAD chief Parkash Singh Badal in a statement said he ‘‘should be proceeded against as per law of the land’’. Joining issue, Punjab BJP chief and MP Avinash Rai Khanna said Singh should be booked for treason. He said the Chief Minister had acted against the Constitution and had lost the propriety to continue in office. In New Delhi, two members of the SGPC, the apex Sikh religious body, asked the Chief Minister to step down immediately and urged PM Manmohan Singh to take action against him. ‘‘The Punjab Chief Minister should immediately resign. He has no moral right to be in office. We urge the Prime Minister to take action against him immediately,’’ said SGPC member Kuldip Singh Bhogal. Another SGPC member, Harinder Pal Singh, said ‘‘The Chief Minister should have avoided going to a gurdwara which is known to be a hub of separatists.’’ Both the SAD and BJP urged the President and the Punjab Governor to ‘‘act decisively’’ in the matter. In New Delhi, Congress spokesperson Jayanthi Natarajan termed Singh’s presence at the Dixie Gurdwara as an ‘‘unfortunate coincidence’’. ‘‘The Chief Minister has already replied to it...Nothing further should be read into it,’’ Natarajan said. I won’t quit, says Amarinder NEW DELHI: Punjab CM Capt Amarinder Singh today dismissed the demand for his resignation and accused the Opposition of misleading the public. In an interview to BBC Hindi, he said he had visited the gurdwara in Canada after the Lok Sabha Deputy Speaker had addressed a gathering there days earlier. ‘‘There are so many things which have been put up in different gurdwaras in Punjab. Does this mean that I should not go to gurdwaras?’’ he said. —PTI http://indianexpress.com/full_story.php?content_id=73123

  21. maan singh was not a sant . he was a fake . we guys r talking about true sants . u call urself khalsa and u r not even at that stage .khalsa is a stage given to bramgyanis . go to gurmatveechar.com and listen to the meaning of word khalsa from sant gurbachan singh ji's katha and widen ur horizon of knowledge . i now u akali dal guys . i know ur menatlity very well . there is no use talking to such foolish and arrogant people who don't want to understand the facts but instead continue their rubbish . u dunno who r saints , mahapurakhs , brahmgyanis etc .? don't u even know there is no difference between god , satguru and his bhagats . they all can take the form of each other when they r one . do u know wt Baba Nand Singh Ji asked when Guru Nanak ji came out of Guru Granth Sahib ji ? he said " jiven vi hove aapda bana lo " u can't even imagine his tapasya , kamai , his devotion , his humility ? u dunno wt the hell u r talking about ? he had so much power that if we wanted he could make millions of universes in one nano second and in another nano second destro them all, yet he remained so humble and polite .u can't even imagine a fraction of his power he was the highest of all highest of all brahmgyanis . the top most rank . " Nand Singh Garja singh aadi jin laaj panth ki saaji " (sau sakhi ) if u dunno abt someone don't talk about them . brahmgyanis those who have kamai of previous of janams , with lot of tapsaya become the roop of their guru . " tohi mohi mohi tohi kanik kot antar kaisa " understand ? so if they want they can give darshan to uttam jagyasoo in the form of Guru Nanak . that's no big deal . its not a big deal for brahmgyanis who r one with their guru . that's a very exreme avastha . one in trillions have this avastha of onenesss with their guru . y r u making this such a big deal ? so wt if someone said Baba Nand Singh ji wr roop of guru nanak ji . people have extreme devotion and love so they such things . god loves his bhagts more than anything else . and don't dare to say anything against Baba Nand Singhji . thank god , its a forum otherwise if u had said such things in front of me , one of us might have gone to sachkhand .
