  1. Dont be such an arogant fool, indian people gang rape as do whites, chinese and any other, the showing off of punjabis is far superior to that of black people, Wake the fu** up shasterkovich.. mods this forum should just be blocked off coz its gone from awareness of sexual assualts in all communities to a racist attack on blacks inferiority or whatever. Let shasterkovich deal with his own insecurities and not use this forum.
  2. its either vasdev who was a avtaar of satjug or vava vishnu which is another name for god, harikrishan (avtaar) har (gods naam) Ramchandir (Avtaar) Raam (gods naam) Nanak/Gobind (Avtaar) Govind/guru (gods naam)
  3. Question: If you have a Havan would you walk around the fire or around maharaj and the fire? Would the granthi sit infront of the Havan (to keep it going and put in ghee etc) or would he sit behind maharaj?
  4. 1000000000 japs with rasna = 1 jap in hirdey It doesn't seem to have much of a difference, wouldn't you agree ?!
  5. lol that philip character seems alot like someone from SGPC.. trying to take the land and wealth from the sampardava
  6. truely is amazing, can I ask for the source of that information, are there any old texts which mention damdami taksal and its purpose or lineage? Is there a website where one can obtain information on the lineage of damdami taksal.
  7. Who gave bhagat dhanna naam? was it the stone he worshipped or the bhaman who gave him the stone? or did he not need any special way of reciting naam, just simply doing naam in any form be it pooja, be it remembering god, be it conversing with god, be it asking stuff from god, or be it gupt recitation taught by your panj, if its done with truth its all the same.
  8. from what i know and thats not much, weddings happened in lots of ways they where very personal and ranged from throwing a shawl (kambal) over the woman and walking off with her, too beating her husband and taking her (if hes not treating her right etc) It was the nirankaris who started the walking around maharaj tradition as prior to that lavaan where done around a fire as is still the case for namdharis, but they have mass weddings where loads of people get married at same time (i think).. too tired to continue posting, will post later 2day.
  9. Sat Sri Akaal Where is this salutation first mentioned ?? Was it started off by the gurus? if so which? where in bani is sat sri akaal mentioned ?? Is sat sri akaal found in any texts prior to sikhism (hindu veds purans upanishads etc etc.. ) can some1 help me out ?? thanx
  10. No offense but I dont think it really matter if you have charan, kirpan, or khanda.. amrit is just a ritual and sikhs are hypocrits.. (most of us anyway - especially me coz im writing this post ) we got to caught up in the ritualistic crap and forgot whats going on, same as the bahman with his idol, and the muslim with his pray mat. Before you got ready for amrit and then when your gurdev felt the time was right and with satgurparsad amrit was given. But now its all about the numbers and face it no1 can be bothered to work for it we are a society of consumers and thats what we do best. . Nowadays we are told amrit is a new beginning its the first step not the last take amrit now even though you aint hit puberty you dont know the powers of the 5 chor even though you got a damn drug problem, take amrit it will wash it all away and you can start fresh. So its a quick fix, and thanks to this quick fix now its common to hear about amritdharis doing this and that..Its the same all over the sikh world, you got farla's being given out like hot cakes amongst the nihangs, you got every dude who sits down for more then 10 minutes becoming a sant, every dude who dies on the street becoming a shaheed.. DOnt get me wrong amrits cool, it just aint what its made out to be, thats the way of kalyug. Sikhi isnt above kalyug it was born in it and from it, just as everything which is created comes from maya. and i know there are akali nihangs out there who keep the farla in the position it should be, there are sants out there who keep the honour of holy men, and there are people who died on the streets as shaheeds.
  11. mugermach if u look at the roots of the words you realise mugermach is derived from both latin and sanskrit root.. muger coming from the latin word mugerios a god who was known for stealing hence in english slang we use the word mug to mean steal and mugger is that person who steals.. mach on the other hand comes from the sanskrit root. of kach.. meaning armpit.. or kachh depending on the dialect which means underpants.. so the meaning of your name mugermach singh can be derived as either god of stealing armpits.. or the more probably definition being stealer of underpants.. hope this helps.
  12. wake up in morning - turn around in bed - go back to sleep (burns off 2 calories turning around so thats the same as eating a tictak.. ) walk to bathroom and hit foot into door - swearing and jumping (-200 calories) singing and dancing in shower (-another 200 calories) running from mom after making mess in bathroom and leaving towel on floor (- 200 calories) sit down infront of tv and constant switching over of channels (maha finger workout) (- 200 calories) walking up and down stairs to use toilet (-200 calories) eating .. humm wonder if i burn off calories while eating? must use some kinda energy (-200 calories) another several hours of watching tv (-200 calories) typing useless replies on sikhawareness (-1200 calories) so as you can see my daily routine is so harsh i end up burning off 2600 calories thats 1300 tic taks. over 108 days of minty fresh breath. I find the only downfall in this routine is a) Not very accurate (at all) affected by the doing of prayers, as they break up the routine and you end up burning off no calories, this routine is strictly not for the religious..
  13. SATNAM.. does that mean his name is true? or thruth is his name ? so by simply doing what is true (higher is truth higher still is truthful living and all that) would that be an act of doing naam??
  14. thats the beauty of gurbani it has thousands of meanings yet only one constant meaning anek yet ek, hence the need for some kind of learning be it santhia or learning of sanskrit and other language systems before one can read bani. There is a book written by a Nirmala which is a whole list of all (or a lot of) the meanings of the gurmantar and beejmantar. vaheguru can be vahed guru - one lord it can also be read as va he guru - wonderous lord vahe gu ru - wonderful (that which brings one from) dark to light or as bhai gurdas ji explains.. satjug = vasdev, --- VA duaparyug = harikrishan --- Ha (he) treta = Ram --- Ra (ru) Kalyug = gobind --- (Gu) VA-HE-GU-RU bhai gurdas ji vara 1||49||1|
  15. request to sikhawareness get hold of the original un edited video if that dude has it and put it on the net so we can all see what happened.. and also it would be nice to see either nidar singh views on whats happening in the video and teji singhs views on whats going on.. Im sure the sites hit counter would go off the roof if you put that up.. it would be seriously crap however if this is just another i've got the video and when we all ask to see they say.. erm no.. its private..
  16. http://www.islamicity.com/culture/Calligraphy/Calig12.htm heres another way of writing allah, the w shaped word with a tail coming off it and going up is the word allah you can see how its similiar just that the khanda is shaped using weapons.. another intresting note is that if you take out the chakar you are left with a remarkable ressemblence to the tarsool (trident) a symbol of shivji (hinduism) could adding the chakar signify the union of islam and hinduism under one flag? the sikh flag??
  17. i been looking at some styles of writing allah, and have basically noticed that if you take out the chakar you are left with a symbol similiar to the iranian flag (which also spells out allah) im not a master in persian but here goes an attempt to explain how to get allah from the khanda, (remember persian is read right to left) take out the chakar the sword on the right is similiar to a straight line going down (in this case its curved and shaped like a sword) this is the letter a, --Purple-- L is the letter L (this is the khanda which comes in the middle) -L --Black-- the sword on the left forms the other L shape - L --Blue the handle of the right sword (the little circle bit) forms the ah - ah --red so you get allah..........................................., [flipv:a6454e343d] V[/flipv:a6454e343d] , Then put the chakar in for decoration.........[ }{ ] sorry for the crap diagram...........................' T /' but you got to give me some credit ............ ; ! : so thats how u get allah from the khanda symbol of the sikhs  lol so i guess those people who call me RSS will now think im Iatolla Dynameenee
  18. Heres 'MY' view 'I' might be wrong coz 'I' am not god, but 'I' can think so 'I' will express 'MY own views...on a forum made for 'ME'. 'I' mean us. The use of the word I is not going to be concidered as ego, as face it you or me or anyone can not do anything but desire, wether the desire is from the mind (false) or the heart (true) all we can do is desire and even that can only be done by SATGURPARSAD (the grace of god-INSHALLAH). Anything that is done is done by SATGURPARSAD and only satguru can do what he wishes. so if the desires are true and they please satguru then it shall be done and you can do whatever he wishes be it walk on the right path or the wrong path or whatever.. This does not mean that which is done and is bad (like beating up an old granny so you can steal her walking stick) happened by the grace of god, but at the same time it did happen by gods grace coz if he never gave his grace nothing would ever happen so it all happens by his grace, but we command wether we do that which is a true desire (from the heart) or that which is a desire towards an illusion of maya (usually in the mind) then again like i said i might be wrong so who cares.. its all gods fault
  19. Would it be wrong to do simran infront of a fire, or near the ocean ?? as i find these two things help me open my mind kinda like a mezmerising (how the hell do u spell that word) experience.. Or would that fall under idol worship? Also to help understand death would it be wrong to do simran in a graveyard ?? as sangat has an influence on us, would doing sangat of such a place have a negative effect or help us understand death?
  20. heres an intresting remark a shia made about the khanda, if stretched in a certain way it spells out allah.. i have requested he give an example and will post it up on the site when i get it..
  21. lol i read the first sentence and thought who the hell puts butter in degh.. ?? (i thought you ment shaheedi degh) lol my mistake.. ghee is purified butter much healthier and better cause it is like purified and stuff..
  22. by khanda are you refering to the shastar (double edged sword) or the khanda as in the newly adopted symbol of sikhism? if its the later, then its from Raja Ranjeet Singhs time
  23. yep, i heard that one too.. they walk around anti-clockwise to keep the shastar on the inner side (closest to maharaj) and so that they walk around (preform salutation to) guru shabad, and guru shastar and gurpanth (if you have all three saroops of gurshabad, Aad, Dasam and Sarbloh gurgranth, then you would have 3 patis and 2 singhs between them doing chor sahib di seva, giving u a total of 5 singhs.. (gurpanth) Also im not a scientist so some quantum physics dude will probably prove me wrong, but the planets also do their parkarma of the sun in an anticlockwise motion, as the moon does to the earth, as an electron to the nucleous (i think ????).
