  1. Vile creature? Neti Neti.. Yes, people under famine, war, bad governments with bad economic policies are special circumstances and should be helped. Had a chance to visit punjab about 3 years back. I watched some pretty well fed young lads just standing around street corners doing nothing. Or just cruising around all day with a wad full of Bapu's money. A lot of them will get into the business of religions. Loads of cash. Nobody can really test your theories or teachings because its all faith.
  2. It is ironic. Mainstream religions are accused of bombings, slitting throats, hacking people to death, preventing women from getting an education, sati, arms and drugs smuggling, hijacking, making inflammatory statements, corruption and everything else you can think of. Just to fund and propagate their latest cause. Can this dera be accused of such obscene crimes? Should I ban the dera or mainstream religions? (Hinduism, Sikhism, Christianity, Islam, Judaism)
  3. What else do you attribute it to? Out of 10 poor people perhaps 1 is in genuine need of help. The rest of them just do not want to work or made bad career choices. Nobody who makes good choices in life with a solid work ethic can go hungry. Yeh apun ke philosophy hai beedu.. However, since you seem to be such a himmati of poor people can I ask what you have done in the last 4-5 years to help them? Or are you just internet hawa? A warrior, sadhu or true himmati of the poor gives up everything else to accomplish his goal. Even the clothes off his back.
  4. Mainstream religions accusing a small dera of illegal activities that's funny, ironic and downright ignorant.
  5. Yes Sir! Since, you put it that way I'm going to sign up immediately... Maybe you should give that Kirit Karni sermon to the people that don't work..it could help them perhaps that's why they don't have roti in the first place... socialist welfare schemes...,lol
  6. Now, we know why the British don't clamp down on Pakistanis. The British themselves are into it as well.
  7. Bad analogy sir. It's more like this. You see me eating roti with mattar paneer with some pachraanga aachar at the side and you also want roti with mattar paneer with pachraanga aachar at the side. And you go out of your way in finding out where and how I got this roti with aachar. You command your wife to go to the local golden grocers ( now closed because of drug running) and get the exact same thing.
  8. See, my problem is that some posters don't seem to have a sustainable position. On one hand one poster says Sikhism is neo-Hinduism, another says Sikhism is kyestria dharm and then in the same sentence claims Niara pan. I like kyestria dharm though it's model, rituals and way of life were created specifically for a certain caste( yes sir a certain caste) and codified by the Brahmans. In effect, by following kyestria dharm you are going back into bahmanvaad not out of it. The first word "kyestria" already talks about a caste.
  9. One cheap shot deserves another- re-read Amars post again. I guarantee the "Phudhu Bahman" has contributed to these granths than any tomator planter.
  10. Which is back to my original point that Kesh means hair on the top of the head. One of Shri Krishans names is "Keshav" the one with the long hair. Here is a Samurai with a Jura. The beard is not so pronounced. It could be that most Japs are not capable of growing a full beard.
  11. Kung Fu and Jiu Jitzu was practiced in India by the Yindoos and then taken the Far East by the Buddhists. I also believe the Japanese Samurai with their hair in a Jura also come from Indian tradition. Interestingly, Bruce Lee's own martial art " Jeet Kwan Do" the way of victory definately has a Sanskrit connection " Jeet"
  12. From what I've read the Arabs or Persians named the people and state. Other theories include that the name comes from the Sanskrit word panchad. But we do know it's ancient name from the scriptures is Sapta Sindu the land of seven rivers. Don't worry about the 7 rivers it was way before your time.
  13. Its good that you googled it for me. It looks like you didn't know either. Thats fine because their are millions of names of God in a million different languages. I would not expect yourself to know anything about any Granths (Hindu or Sikh) when your community has made very little contribution to them. Come on over I'm waiting at Haridwar. You don't have to change your name or dress this time.
  14. You did not answer my question, is your mother tongue Punjabi? And why is your state and its people named by the Arabs?
  15. As for the "Kishan Bishan" thing I can't even say anything similar about Govind or Govinda because even those are the names of Shri Krishan.
  16. As I said earlier in this thread. You need to separate his alleged illegal activities from his religious activities. And also understand that in India charges or allegations are also framed by vested interests. Now, in terms of his religious activities it is alleged that is copying, modifying or changing around sikh tenents, rituals and teachings. Just as you did with the earlier religions. As for the "idol destroyer" I'm taking that literally. Of course you have the "context" argument.
  17. My own dharm gave me permission. Who gave you permission to use a deity from my religion?
  18. And you do? And if did know you wouldn't be running around Hindu institutions with assumed names looking for a little gyan.
  19. Context? If you are going to use that excuse then please give the dera mukhi the same opportunity. Perhaps he has a context excuse as well?
  20. Like I said context of the situation should be considered. In the ancient days certificates like titles, special weaponry or rituals would be given by the presiding Guru. However, this is in the middle of war. Perhaps the knowledge and direction is the certificate. One of the Gurus jobs is to break down the individual and rebuild a newer stronger version.
  21. Guru Pariksha can be a mental or physical test, or both. It is upto the Guru to decide. In this case the absolute surrender to the will and instruction of his Guru is probably initiation. We see during 1699 Khalsa initiation people being led into the tent by Guru Gobind Singh ji. The panj pyare think they are going to have their heads cut off but still go anyways. They have surrendered their will to their Guru. That is the test, the initiation. Not the Khande de phaul.
  22. And here is Shahrukh Khan sahib. You can see the Koran at 41 seconds. Got in a lot of trouble for this.
  23. Mmmmmm...ahahha Huma Qureshi Soha Ali Khan Guahar Khan Katrina Kaif Sonya Jehan (Noor Jehans Grandaughter) will all go into hindu homes with their new hindu husbands in the new year...
  24. Indian actress Gauhar Khan slapped by a Muslim and her boyfriend Rajiv Tandon is angry. The muslim accused her of being immoral and dating outside of her religion. Ahhhhhhhaaaaaaaa
  25. So Islamists are urging their daughters to marry Hindus in Hindu ceremonies? Or throwing the Koran at the feet of Durga? Check this out. Veena Malik is a pakistani actress that went to India and got some from Ashmit Patel. Watch below how she is destroyed by the Mullah. The screaming and fighting, the accusations of immoral behaivour and bringing disgrace to Islime.
