  1. It could be both. The Guru is a teacher. Shri Krishan urges him to fight (instruction) and then tells him to fight (direct updesh) its also about context. The Gita is recited in the middle of war.
  2. As soon as you ask for instruction the guru shishya relationship kicks in. To what degree depends on the circumstance. It is interesting to note in the entire Mahabharata Arjun never considers Shri Krishan as his guru but just a close friend. The guru disciple relationship starts minutes before the war when Arjun asks for instruction and then says I will not fight. Shri Krishans response is simple " you take me as your Guru and then give me your decision not to fight? The first step is absolute surrender to the will of your Guru"
  3. Of course we rejected the Gurmukhi script as you would reject the shahmukhi and devangiri script.
  4. But it is amusing to watch the quick switch over not on the fear of death or conversion but just plain greed or trying to be on the winning side which is epidemic amongst all Indians.
  5. Understandable Jaikaara I used to attend gurudwara and considered these people as brothers. More trust worthy and upright than my own community but the amount of veiled venom spewed on their forums and gurudwaras make us cringe. They are my brothers but as my guru said in the Gita it does not matter if you have fight your own gurus, brothers, cousins or "saka sambandi" for the protection of dharm it has to be done.
  6. Just watch your community quickly switch over in next couple of years.
  7. You can try Syria if you like? I can even help by buying "scalped" tickets. Please check below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CuRv21AP4Dg
  8. Back to the topic. The beauty of the guru-shisya relationship is the Guru through his own experience and knowledge can guide an individual and help avoid mistakes. The guru is a master and hence technically different than a sant or sadhu because the guru is complete. Has the credentials to teach other. The sant or sadhu is incomplete. I liken them to a nurse and doctor. Similar field and duties that overlap but a doctor is still the expert and final say.
  9. How much rupees do you get as a baksheesh over there? Just curious. Do you have to adopt the Pakistani lifestyle as well? Sister marrying, goat naal ishq ?
  10. Is that what your Pakistani handlers tell you say? Perhaps sponsor all your protests? Or give your dharm Faujis a nice safe house in Karachi...that's what shahbeg was saying....
  11. Either way the required result was obtained. Soon, the western governments were deporting and reporting.
  12. Just remember what my masters called your founders. Not sikh, but something else......hhhhhhhhhhiiiiiiiinddduuuuuu
  13. Yes, brahmgyani status can be achieved through various ways. The easiest way according to hindu scriptures is something naam simran or Naam jaap, another way is through absolute surrender to the will of a Guru. Scriptures much like idols are supposed to be discarded when you reach a certain point. You don't burn them but become indifferent to them. It's like you are about to cross a lake. You see a boat and use it to cross. When you get to the other side you don't burn or destroy the boat because you may need it again or somebody else may need it.
  14. I was talking about something else but you brought in the Arabs. Just giving you a taste of your own medicine. Next time remember the rate before you talk bakwas. Now, since that's out of the way lets discuss the topic shall we?
  15. Lol! Statistics don't lie. You have been slaves for 92 percent of your history. That's a A plus plus. Every year it inches up. Soon you shall hit the 95 percent mark!
  16. Sikhism has been around for 545 years. In that time only 50 years of independence with ranjit Singh. 50 divided by 545 equals an almost 92 percent slavery rate. Your rate of slavery is an astonishing 92 percent!!!!!!
  17. But you seem to go keep on going back to the same point of Arabs naming the people on the subcontinent and you seem to give it great weight in your arguments, so who is the slave me or you?
  18. Muhaaaaaaaah oh tere you think you are getting me angry? I don't get angry have thick skin.. The only thing that gets me mad is little kids calling me uncle ji at the temple, and the smell of tharka
  19. Sour grapes? Ahhh...that's too bad. nanakpanthis lol I'm going to invite you to Haridwar and this time you don't have to change your appearance and names to get a little bit of gyan to take back. I'm reminded of a story from the jahangirnama it goes something like this " on the banks of the river Ravi lived a Hindu named Arjun" So, I guess our master called us both Hindus.
  20. Whether it's shahrukh tossing the Koran at the feet of Durga or salmon khan giving his sister away in marriage to a Hindu yesterday in a full Hindu ceremony or next month when Saif Ali khan is going to do the same with his sister Soha khan.
  21. If khan sahib are so good why not promote them in business, education and other areas. Why just films? Because that is the way it should be. And we only promote khans that are highly hinduized.
