  1. Singh ji, that's what I am asking you, please show me one shabad FROM GURU GRANTH SAHIB where Guru ji promoted counting, since you fail to admire shabads which are against it. Just show me one shabad.
  2. Instead of admiring the shabads from Guru Granth Sahib, which throws light on Mala Pakhand and counting, you are just beating around the bush and considers me a spam. I may have copied the shabads from some other website but the shabads are from Guru Granth Sahib, the main source. C'mon guys, instead of questioning my intention of learning, don't you think you should read and learn the shabads and try to accept your mistake?
  3. Where in Guru Granth Sahib I can find shaloks supporting the above statement, which says that certain days in the year are auspicious and meditating on those days will be more beneficial? Did Guru Nanak Ji said this in any of their banis? If you can humbly help me.
  4. Hun ehi baki reh gaya si Paapiman ji
  5. Thoda hisaab lake gap chadeya karo veerji. Mardana, being a muslim accompanied Guru Nanak Ji all their life. Did he pollute Sikhism? Guruji accepted and added Bhai Mardana's shabads in Guru Granth Sahib. Was Sgeikh Farid not a muslim? The only polluted lineage I know is the 'Gappi' lineage which so called bramhgyanis started and you area all folllowing. This forum will surely win the Gapp competition if it helds in Sikhsim.
  6. Please quote shabads from gurbani which supports the above statement.
  7. Paapiman ji, any JAAP to relieve people out of drought effected region in Maharashtra, India? Few days back 100 people reportedly got killed due to an accident in Kerala temple; any Jaap to predict such incidents in advance? Please help.
  8. @paapiman Ok now. So you cannot support any cult or group who speaks against Gurbani but you seems to be a great admirer of Nanaksar, the samprada who continues to follow the below tradition & belief which is nowhere close to the principles of Gurbani. • Guru Granth is installed like an idol and access to an ordinary devotee is denied to it. • The Sikh flag nishan sahib is not hoisted on the building. • A, separate term is assigned to the Gurdwara i.e Thath or the abode of enjoyment.. • Sikhism condemns renunciation of family life, they have founded a group called Behangams the ascetics who are to remain unmarried throughout their lives. • They specifically prohibit meat eating. • They don't read Raj karega Khalsa couplet ordered by the Tenth Guru. • They do wear five Ks of the Sikhs, with a small sword of merely of an inch or two like a janeo of the Hindus. • They don't believe in the free kitchen langar concept of Guru Nanak. • They undertake penance • They don't subscribe to the concept of Sangat and instead give importance to individual saints. • They have firm belief in pap-pun • They do not subscribe to the Gurdwara practices of til-phul i.e humble offering according to ones means instead they separately or say secretly accept money. • They don't subscribe to the traditional Prasad system of the Gurdwara and rather they accept sugar cubes from devotees which are clandestinely sold back to . the shops nearby. • They observe auspicious/inauspicious days and dates. • Since the Thaths are headed by so called saints there are often disputes as to possession of the Thaths and succession on the death of a saint.
  9. You are right in this regard. The concern is when samprada like Nanaksar promotes it in their stories as the only way to be purely close to God or to pure salvation. No offence to any samprada here. Never mean to hurt anyone's devotion but if anyone want, I can quote stories supporting this, from their books.
  10. For the sake of argument, if even we believe that Celibacy is optional in Sikhism then not even 1 Guru Sahib choose this in there life. This is again my repeated attempt to explain this point that all Guru Sahibs were gristi and THEY LIVE & LEAD THEIR LIFE BY SETTING EXAMPLES. What if every Sikh choose to be celibate? The people arguing on presence of Celibacy options in Sikhism should actually be thankful to Guru Sahibs that we are free from all this FOKAT customs because if their father had chosen to be celibate they wouldn't have born in the first place to argue about this, in this forum. @CdnSikhGirl, I don't know what's wrong with @paapiman, even with numerous explanations & examples from Gurbani, it's hard for him to accept the fact. This is not at all a healthy way of discussions where person never acknowledges and agrees on something which is been clearly explained in the light of Gurmat. Grisht dharam nu shresht dharam maneya hai, buy it a person doesn't want to marry due to some personal reasons, its his/her personal choice & doesn't constitutes a spiritual growth as promoted by some of our so called Sikh Sampradas like Nanaksar. CELIBACY IN SPIRITUAL WORLD IS NOTHING, BUT JUST RUNNING AWAY FROM RESPONSIBILITIES.
  11. C'mon @paapiman, how does it encourages Celibacy? I may not be perfect in my words, but let me give the central idea of this shabad. In the above shabad, Guru Nanak Maharaj is doing parchaar of Sikhi. A Sikh is a student and anybody from any walks of life may it be any Aughad sadhu, sanyasi, tapasvi, etc. can embrace its teaching & implement it in their life. Medical College dont seek doctors for the new admission but seeks people who are keen to become one & A person don't just becomes Doctor by just taking admission in medical college. Its a call from Guru Maharaj to the world however its a different story that we made Sikhi Punjab & Punjabi centric. The very sidhant of Sikhism is laid on Gristi Jeevan. All Guru Sahibs were gristi & they practiced what they preached. @paapiman why do you find it difficult to accept this fact even when our Guru Sahib himself were Gristi & not celibates? Is Nanksar and Nanksariye above Guru Sahibs?
  12. Finally, I can find someone in this crowd who talks Gurmat. Proud of you @CdnSikhGirl. No Ego here. There are people in this forum who are sooo much influenced by Alif Laila & other mystical, mythological & fairy stories that they have moved far away from being practical. For them, there has to some or other kind of magic to ascertain some person's spirituality, just as Hindus & Catholic brothers do.
  13. @paapiman Gurbani has a certain style of teaching, a way in which most of the teachings seems to be opposing hypocrisy only, but that's not the fact. Shabads in the Gurbani ends with a central idea of the whole context. Gurbani first talks about the Manmat (karam kand) and at the end the conveys & concludes the topic with a Gurmat Vichar, the right thought. sagal dharam me grihsth pardhan Quoting words of someother Gursikh "A grihasti jeevan is a MUST. This means that a Sikh has a life as a householder, family man, husband/wife and father/mother which means the Sikh MUST sail through the world ocean of Maya to get to the other side. A Sikh doesn't try to hide or become a recluse from society like the yogis in the caves do. Don't get me wrong.... Guru Nanak ji is Not saying that they don't get enlightened but Guru Nanak ji is saying that HIS SIKH can get enlightened whilst maintaining a grihsti jeevan and living/working in normal society"
  14. None of the above people were celibates, -Baba Deep Singh Ji was married. -Bhai Taru Singh Ji & Baba Ajit Singh Ji were martyred at a very young age -Bhai Gurdas Ji's voluntary decision of not getting married doesn't ascertain that he followed celibacy. There are many Gursikh around us who don't get married because of their many personal reasons. No Sikh Guru followed celibacy. Is it not the biggest reason for us to validate?
  15. GGGS - Page 324 If someone could save himself by celibacy, O Siblings of Destiny, why then haven't eunuchs obtained the state of supreme dignity? Says Kabeer, listen, O men, O Siblings of Destiny: without the Lord's Name, who has ever found salvation? ||4||4|| Guru Granth Sahib rejects Celibacy. No Sikh Gurus followed the path of Celibacy then why should Sikhs? Why only Celibates? Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj was not a celibate when he first prepared Khande Di Pohol. If Guruji would want their Sikhs to follow celibacy, he himself would have practised it first. But No, he didn't, neither any Sikh Gurus. Panj Pyare were not celibates & No Sikh Gurus followed the path of Celibacy. Please read their history properly. I know @paapiman, many of the Nanaksari Maryada enthusiast, including you, would find problem digesting this & will start portraying me as anti-Brahmgyanis, anti-Gurmat etc etc, but its hard to expect any logical reasons from them.
  16. There are no agents between us and Waheguru. Guruji removed everything in between & showed us a clear way.
  17. Please answer my question or just accept the fact. Why running from it? You are saying me that I should focus on myself & family, whereas, people here are putting all their energy to spread blatant lies for our father.
  18. On Tuesday, between 11pm to 1am? Lets see how many admirers of Baba Nand Singh follow these rules. No offence here. No doubt why growing number of the youngsters are running away from Sikhi. Our Great Great Saints of the Panth have complicated Sikhi sooo much that now there are Guidelines in mating with their own spouse even when a person is committed with one person throughout the life. Guru Gobind Singh Ji had 4 children & & Guru Har Gobind Singh Ji had more then 4. Does that mean they were not grahsti according to Baba Nand Singh ji? Please answer logically. No offence to any Baba here.
  19. Did Guru Maharaj made any mistake by constructing complete Gurbani in Raags? It completely depends on the person reading it. I guess, we should not impose anybody's personal views on the kaum, whether it be Baba Nand Singh Ji. Because, in the end, no person is above Guru Granth Sahib Ji
  20. Khalsa ji, when did I doubt Harnam Singh Ji's jeevan? The same questions(which u asked me) will be asked by the people of other faiths to the Sikhs, when they will create myth stories of Guru Maharaj & associate it with their spiritual people by showing then in a bad state. On the similar note, they could even make Guru Nanak Maharaj stand in front of their spiritual figures asking for some daat. What answer would Sikhs around the world give then? Its an age old tradition brother, if u want to be big, associated yourself with big people. People take pics with a powerful politicians and hang it at their entrance to show power. @Rock hey brother, what mischief did I create? Did Guru Maharaj also meet jesus, Mohammad etc. in their life time? Why didn't they come to meet Guruji at that time?
  21. Sikh's code of conduct authorized by Akal Takth (Highest Sikh Temporal Authority). http://www.sikhs.org/rehit.htm
  22. ਪੰਜਾਬੀਓ ਆਓ,ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਕੜਾਹ ਬਣਾਓ I LOL! Gappan maarne di vi koi hadd hundi ae ji, eh tan sarian haddan tap gaye. Shayad hale eh gappan Muslim ate Christians veeran tak nahi puji, nahi tan una ne Guru Nanak Maharaj diyan hi ultiyan kahaniyan banake apne naal jod laeniyan si. Fer eh Sikh kahan wale kise babe de chele ne aage nahi aauna. Its high time. Gappan maarna band karo ate sunna vi.
  23. I agree with you partially, With this argument, people will start every manmatti activities which makes them contentment & satisfied. Let me explain u with a simple example. By just reading 1st chapter of Chemistry multiple times won't give you understanding on the complete book. Its not the counting, but the mindless manmatti equations here that matters. Person may learn as many time he wants to understand a chapter, but people here are propagating idea of understanding complete book by just reciting 1 chapter multiple times. I am sure, my chemistry teacher won't be happy with me until I read and understand complete book. I know, few nice people on this forum don't like me because whenever I raise questions in the complete light of Gurbani, the only thing these gangs do is to attack me personally or divert the topic, instead of giving logical answers. Now I am seriously tired of all this and stop replying to them. Its not good on my part but can't help. For them ever person who questions there manmat rituals are Missionaries. They are propagating Mammat in the name of Sikh Awareness.
  24. Waheguru tuhade te kirpa kare. Babeyan ne tuhanu brainwash kar dita hai. I feel pity on you now. Guru Gobind Singh Maharaj ne Khande Di Pohol shakake sanu Jaat Paat ton bahar kad dita but tuhade warge insaan ne tan Maharaj nu hi jatan patan wich paa dita. Jo 1699 wich Rai ton Singh ho gaye, ohnanu tusi hale vi Rai, Sodhi bana ke rakheya ae. Tuhanu Patshah Buddhi Bakshe.
  25. What's wrong with you , Name is Guru Nanak Ji Maharaj or Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj Who the heck told you to put suffix "Rai Dev Bedi Jee". No one addressed Guru Nanak Maharaj with "RAI DEV BEDI JEE". Not even Bhai Gurdas & puratan Sikhs.
