  1. You can request the Admins to lock this topic for you. Anyways, the initial post cannot be read now. So, people wont completely understand the replies. Good for you sister that you are happy now. Bhul chuk maaf
  2. Good one brother. Try to mediate a lot too and see if you notice any differences in your overall mental health (vikar activity, calmness, sleep patterns, dreams, time spent on meditation, etc). All the best. Btw, are you planning a vegan diet or a lacto-vegetarian one Bhul chuk maaf
  3. Important note: The English translation of this Charitar has given a sexual imagery to it, but it is possible to interpret this Charitar without it. This Charitar exposes a male Impostor (in the form of a Jogi). One needs to understand the meanings of the word ਭੋਗ, ਰਮੈ, ਰਤ, ਭਜ, etc. Please listen to the audio clip below: Bhul chuk maaf
  4. Warning: Sexually explicit material below. Daas will kindly request sangat, below the age of 25 or people who are greatly affected by Lust, to stay away from this discussion. Please forgive me for being explicit. 5. Apologies, this should have been posted before the Charitars. One needs to read this, to understand the context of the Charitars. Brief Summary There is an old King, who has married a young lady. The King had attacked another kingdom, assassinated the lady's father and then won her over. This young lady gets sexually attracted to the son of the old King. The son/prince refuses to have sex with her. She then later, accuses him of sexually assaulting her. The old King blindly believes in her lies and decides to execute his son, by death penalty. The Minister knows the truth and tries to change the king's mind through these Charitars. For Details, please see below: Bhul chuk maaf
  6. Brilliant Paaji. Lesson for Rulers/Politicians/Leaders: You are suppose to have one single eye so that you can mete out proper justice. You have to be fair, just, non-biased, non-dual, etc. in your dealings. Bhul chuk maaf
  7. The one-eye of the husband could possibly also indicate his Sharda (devotion) towards his wife, as it says ਸੋ ਯਾ ਪਰ ਰੀਝਤ ਨਹੀ ਯਾ ਕੇ ਵਾ ਮਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ॥੪॥ (................as if she was his life and soul) He has lost his other eye of Gyan and that is why he is not able to comprehend the fact that his wife is cheating on him. Bhul chuk maaf
  8. Sister, Daas will humbly request you to take Amrit. As long as you are not consuming alcohol, it should be fine. Khanday wala Amrit is the first/mandatory step to enter into Sikhi. Some people might make Amrit look like a big deal, but it is a very basic/elementary step in the realm of Sikhism. Joining a Jatha on a full time basis, is something a person should contemplate deeply, before doing so, not consuming Amrit. Additionally, if a Saint/Panj Pyaray recommend you to take Amrit after certain period of Naam Simran, then follow their advice. If no such advice is available, then Amrit must be consumed asap. Bhul chuk maaf
  9. @tryingtoimprove - How are you doing brother? Bhul chuk maaf
  10. Have you taken Amrit Paaji? Have you heard of Sri Sampat Paath? Please do not give hope. There is not a single problem that exists, which Gurbani cannot solve. Anyways, if you prefer to talk only via email, please let me know. Bhul chuk maaf
  11. Jasbir Saab jee, please try the below: Bhul chuk maaf
  12. The husband could also possibly represent: Forgiveness (Khima) Innocence Non-duality (one eye - seeing God in all - Sam Darishti) Bhul chuk maaf
  13. Anthriv Arth: It states in the Charitar that the husband could hear some noises, as the lady could not close his ears completely. ਸ੍ਰਵਨਨ ਕਛੁ ਖਰਕੋ ਸੁਨੈ ਇਕ ਚਖੁ ਸਕੈ ਨ ਹੇਰਿ ॥ His one eye has been covered, so he is effectively blind (as he is one-eyed). In a deeper sense, this could possibly indicate that even though when Maya has taken over a person's mind, he can still hear the voice of God emitting from inside. We, as humans, should strive to investigate the source of this voice. Bhul chuk maaf
  14. Anthriv Arths: This lady could possibly represent: Maya Kaljug Anger Cleverness Violence The husband could possibly represent: Weak mind Cowardice/Fear Emotional (Raag) Attachment (Moh) The two eyes : One eye indicates Gyan (Knowledge) The other eye indicates Sharda (Devotion) Any connections? Bhul chuk maaf
  15. Contextual Perspective: The minister is trying to insert some sense into the king's(from the initial story) mind. He is indirectly telling him that you are acting like an one-eyed person, by only listening to your wife and ignoring your son's perspective. Bhul chuk maaf
  16. This lady was very dominant. Her name was ਘੁਰਕੀ , which could mean warning or scolding. This can possibly indicate: Aggressive woman Ill-mannered woman The adjective used for the male is ਮੁਰਦਾਰ: This can possibly indicate: Immoral person Poor person Weak person/Coward Person with no self-respect/dignity Bhul chuk maaf
  17. This Charitar also signifies how flattery (khusamad) can be used to cloud a person's decision making. The Fat lover fell victim to flattery of the woman, even though, evidence (in the form of semen) was present right in front of him. Some important teachings from this Charitar: Don't let flattery fog your decision making abilities Beware of people, who excessively praise you or unduly praise you Never ever indulge in flattery or utter any undue praises for any person. Praise can also be a form of sin in Gurmat Bhul chuk maaf
  18. - This Fat lover also represents animal instinct as Maharaaj states: ਫੂਲਿ ਗਯੋ ਪਸੁ ਬਾਤ ਸੁਨਿ ਨਿਜੁ ਸੁਭ ਮਾਨੈ ਅੰਗ ॥ ਪਸੁ - Means an animal - He can also possibly represent someone who is a victim of Praises (Ustat). Bhul chuk maaf
  19. Dhan Dhan Srimaan Sant Baba Attar Singh jee Mastuanaywale Dhan Dhan Dhan Satguru Sri Guru Nanak Rai Dev Bedi jee Maharaaj Bhul chuk maaf
  20. This Charitar is a case of a cheating wife, while the previous Charitar is more of a loose woman (similar to a Prostitute). It has similarities to the previous Charitar. Bhul chuk maaf

  22. Most likely brother, there are Antrhiv Arths. There is a reason as to why they are refereed to as Turiya or Budhi Charitars. Bhul chuk maaf
  23. Anthriv Arths The Fat lover can possibly represent: Poor Intellect (ਮੋਟੀ ਮਤ) God (God is refereed to as ਮੋਟਾ in Gurbani) Ego The Lean lover can possibly represent: Fine intellect (Sukham Budhi) Weak intellect Humility Lust The lady can possibly represent: Soul-bride Intellect (Budhi) Mind (ਮਨ) Duality Consciousness The father of the lady can possibly represent: God Soul Innocence Illiterate mind Can anyone make any connections Bhul chuk maaf
