  1. I know their is a Punjabi translation, but to date no one has done an English translation.
  2. Hari, why are you bringing in Haria Vela walay Nihangs into this, or even Sukha and Shaheedi deg for that matter? Do you feel it is necessary to divert this topic away from the real issue i.e. Shastar Vidya being a Hoax by bad mouthing Haria Vela Walay in order to feel intelligent? What Nihangs do amongst themselves is their business. But the truth shall remain the truth no matter what. The truth of the matter is that “Shastar Vidya†that the pant wearing Balaity Nihangs practice is not what the real Nihangs in India practice whether it is the Sukha drinking ones or normal ones.
  3. What’s wrong with DHols? Chandi Di Vaar mentions that the armies of the Rakshasas and Devtas used thousands of Dhols before and during the battle (Dhol, Shank, Nagaray bajay). I suggest you read some dasam bani before ridiculing Sikh tradition. The Nihangs in India refer to Sikh martial arts as “Gatkaâ€. Strangely the Balaiti “Nihangs†are living in this strange Lalaa Land thinking that some fairy tale Shastar Vidya is the real Sikh martial arts. It’s easy to fool these NRI’s isn’t it Narsingha? To all those NRI’s I suggest you go to India and see the real Sikh martial arts as it is practiced by the real Nihangs in India rather than this abomination that these Balaity Nihangs call “Shastar Vidyaâ€. I don’t need to give evidence for anything. All I ask these NRIs is that the next time they go to India, they should see for themselves what martial arts the Nihangs practice i.e. Gatka or this abomination “Shastar Vidya†aka Chatka Gatka. Once they see for themselves of how the UK “nihangs†are the only ones in the world practicing this “art†Dood ka Dood, aur Pani ka Pani ho jai ga. Then why were the Nihangs used as puppets by the GOI in 84 against the wishes of the Panth? Not that I even consider you Balaiti "nihangs" to be real Nihangs… OH you mean those low blow moves you are teaching women and children. Further, I’m not bad mouthing the real Nihangs from India, but the ones who pretend to be Nihangs in these western countries fooling gullible NRIs.
  4. Yaaaaaaaaawwwn, does anyone have anything useful to write instead of the same old same old?
  5. The so-called “Shastar Vidya†is nothing but a hoax. It's not even puraatan the way it is being portrayed in its website. Just a matter of time before it gets exposed for what it really is.
  6. Please Narsingha, enlighten us with your timeless "wisdom" and tell us what they were fighting for dear…
  7. Rumi’s banis are not contained Guru Granth Sahib Jee, he is not considered a part of the Bhagat Mala i.e. Kabir, Namdev, Farid etc. Yet he is being discussed on “Gurbani and Gurmat Discussion†section? Wouldn’t the “Comparative religion/philosophy†section be a more suitable place for this discussion?
  8. It seems like they dont even have a translation of Sarbloh Granth.
  9. Bhutan, Burma, Japan and other south east asian countries. The reason why Buddhism is so popular in the west is because of Hollywood and its portrayal of the mysterious east. Nah, it's just the thing that oppressed people are sometimes forced to do.
  10. Truth of the matter is the Babbars (Bhai Sukhdev Singh group) were man enough to fight and die for what they believed in. They died in the true spirit of the Khalsa, instead of bowing to Indira Gundee and her Napaak dynasty. If you think having Anakh and fighting for the Izzat of your Quam makes the Babbars into supposed “terrorists†in your eyes, then you have been living the west for too long. You have forgotten our ways and manners in which Anakh and Izzat are an integral part of who we are.
  11. Look “beastâ€, unlike you who was born and raised in the UK, I was actually born in India. So I know what I’m talking about buddy…it really surprises me of how some people in foreign countries raised in air-conditioned houses can point fingers at us. In colonial times, we had a word for people who supported the foreigners, they were called toadies. Back then the toadies supported the foreigners of Europe, and the current ones support the ones in Delhi. In Punjabi theses toadies are referred to as “Jhollee Chakâ€, and even “Boot-Chattâ€. Furthermore, I would like to add, it was not intended to be a racist comment. The truth of the matter is, unless a quam has a country of its own, it has little or no sympathy in this world. This is how the Jews were before 47, and currently this is how other nationless Quams are around the world such as the Sikhs, Dalits, Kurds.
  12. I would like to thank Singh123 wholeheartedly for setting the record straight. I’m just surprised at the level of ignorance that some people here have. I don’t expect a non-Punjabi to understand our pain that started in 78 and struggles which started in 47 all the way to the present. Sad thing is when some of “our†own start supporting these outsiders in their attempt in trying to tarnish the reputation of the Shaheeds of our Quam.
  13. The same discussion on Sikhsangat. http://forums.waheguroo.com/index.php?act=...001&hl=weirdest BTW, I don’t think the word "fanatic" is very appropriate against fellow Sikhs.
  14. Not too sure about the "original" part, but yes they are Amritdharis alright. actually, Christians do beleive in Jesus as "God".
  15. Actually, I didn’t know the proper word for it. But thanks for telling me it’s proper name.
  16. I don’t know if Ali was the prophet or not, but he was a great warrior. He must have worn a Pagh(Turban) instead of that arab Bedouin blanket on his head as it is depicted on this picture.
  17. What is “Dasam Guru Darbar†and “Sarbloh Guru Darbar
  18. This site had loads of information. The site seems alright, except for the part where they become very pro Radhaswami, Nirankari and Namdhari/kuka.
  19. Bambokat Jee, but just because some non-AKJ Sikhs sometimes refer to AKJ as "bhai randhir singh dha jatha" does not mean it was ever officially called 'bhai randhir singh da jatha'. Similarly I have heard of many people refer to the followers of Baba Santa Singh as "santa singh da jatha", or in Punjab many people still refer to Sant Jernail SIngh Jee's armed followers as "bhindrawalay da bandookha da jatha". Pendu people of Punjab say a lot of things. But you will never find AKJ being referred to as ‘randhir singh da jatha’ by any book written by an AKJ sikh.
  20. Lalleshwari wrote: Sikh princess in response wrote: Narsingha in response to that wrote: Me, Sikh Princess, heck even Narsingha sees it. But you don’t… Even Narsingha (a “Sanatan†Sikh) admits that Lalleshwari has the “right†to have his own opinion in regards to his opinion that Sanatanis did not exist before the 19th century. You should reread the entire thread and analyze it carefully because everyone is seeing it except for you. This is not a credible source, it doesn’t even provide a source from where it got its information from. Provide a source from an AKJ book in which AKJ is referred to as "randhir singh da jatha".
  21. No guv, Veer Lalleshwari originally said the following: “YOu surely have Smartas, Shaivas, Vaishnavas, Shaktas but there never were Sanatanis before the 19th century!†As you can see, he named a number of religious groups, and ended it by saying the Sanatanis never existed before the 19th century implying that the Sanatanis as we know them today started only after the 19th century. So I stand corrected. What source do you have for this that proves it was ever called "bhai randhir singh da jatha"?
  22. Thanks, Sikhi is truly timeless. Too bad I cant say the same about Sanatan Sikhi which did not even exist before the 19th century.
  23. Can some moderator please lock this thread? Let’s not let such pointless threads lower the standard of this good forum. Its one thing to seriously discuss the wrongdoings of the SGPC against our heritage, but all I see is people here indulging in character assassination of Panthic Jathabandis by calling them nazis, and for the strangest reason even toilets as if that has anything to do with our heritage(Some people just have too much time on their hands).
  24. That still does not change the fact that even the Vedas speak against killing animals for food. Besides the Vedas even the scriptures of the Vaishnavas, Shaivates etc are against animals for food. Consumption of animals for food is a foreign influence in India. Bhisham who is regarded as one of the greatest Kshatriyas ever refers to meat eaters as the Vilest of human beings! hmm, I always suspected that the Sanatanis (which includes Sanatani Sikhs) were a recent phenomena non-existent before the 19th century as even admitted by you.
